Topper Decor'

Hello Everyone!
I just adore topper decor' in a room.
They give a finished look to a doorway or picture.
I have used them throughout our home in many ways.
Master bath between the light fixtures on vanity area.
Master bedroom doorway into the bath. The front door in the foyer. The living room above a mirror.
The open wall from the family room looking into the kitchen.
The doorway leading into the living room. The kitchen pantry door. A topper in the formal dining room.

The laundry room above colorful baskets holding soaps. My favorite is a grape cluster topper above the stove.

Have a wonderful week!

Oooooo...how pretty. I love them too, and have several. But, my husband moans & groans every time I have him help me put one up (we're hanging one now, in fact) :O) A larger one would make a nice headboard. There's a store here that uses the wrought iron grates in the kitchen windows & that's pretty too, but it won't work in my kitchen. Was wondering if you'd tell me what color red you used in your nook? I'm looking at about 6 samples, and I'm not sure I like any of them. My e-mail address is on my profile page. Thanks!

You have a great variety of them. I need to find one for my living room. One time a real decorator came to my house - for one hour - She said toppers are a great way to extend the space up. Or in my case, to fill a tall space. I'm on the lookout!!

Thanks for letting us see all of yours. I like your pictures.

Thanks for the paint color! I have some friends that work for Lowe's, since the corporate office is here, so maybe they can get me the inside track! I have 5 Lowe's reds up in my powder room, and they are either too red or too burgundy. Sounds like that is just the color I'm trying to find! Can't wait to see your Christmas decor!

Your home is so beautiful Melissa. The toppers do add a lot. I have a few but my house is small so I have to be careful not to add too much or it will look cluttered.

Oh Melissa, here's a big hug! (((((HUG)))))! And all the while I thought you might be a NC native, but it makes sense that you're not. Where is your family? I know it's hard being away. Even though I'm only 2-1/2 hours away from mine, I worry about how I'm going to take care of my parents one day. I'm sure it will all work out though. Have a great weekend!

Hello again Melissa!

You are part a meme I did on my blog today! Please only participate in it if you have the time --I know it is quite a busy time of the year.

Have a good weekend!

Hi, the phone# for Ashley Carol is 704-892-4741. I believe they're closed on Sunday. There's another great place I go called Shops on Front in Statesville, NC that have some awesome toppers too, I just haven't had time to do a post on them. I'll try to catch the one I bought in one of the photos I post sometime.

Melissa, I closed my shop 3 years ago and went to work at our businesses. I do on an average about 4-6 weddings a month. It's so hard to work full time and do the weddings. But this is my pasion I just wish I could decorate the way I make flowers.
I can pull weddings together with out thinking but when it comes to the house I can't seem to get it right. But I think it is because I am overwelmed with it and I don't really have the time like it need. I'll show you more. I posted a close up photo of Steve and I from a cruise last march.
I can't seem to make my mind up either about my hair color or short or long, banges or no banges. I think I'm going thru this I don't wanta look like a grandmother but I wanta been the number one grandmother. LOL
Thank you for all your comments and I just wished I had all the beautiful trim in my home; I am working on Steve on that. But the downstairs needs to be finishe.

Hi Melissa :)

First, I want to apologize for not getting over to see you sooner. I'm backed up with a whole lot of comments from my birthday post and sometimes it takes awhile for me to catch up. Someone's got to clean the house right? Darn it! LOL So please forgive me.

Anyway, you're right! We DO have a lot in common and it's so nice to "meet" you :)

Your home is beautiful and I love your door toppers.

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

Hi there - me again! Love all these toppers - I was trying to pick a favorite but couldn't! I know that empty space above doors annoys me too! I tend to put plates but now me thinks I better get some more scrolly things! :) ~ Laurie
