Hi Melissa...Glad Chestnut liked the video of his brother watching Laura Bush on TV. (Did you notice? He was fascinated!) I loved this post! I'll have to see if I can find Dewey. That looks like a cute book. Martha has always been one of my favs. When she's showing us how to replace the screen in her back door, I do have to wonder if she really does that kind of stuff or is she joshin' us? lol Debbie

My daughter started reading Twilight last night when we were at Booksamillion and she said she wanted to look on ebay for it. I'll have to tell her to try Amazon...I hear they are cheaper.

Dewey sounds like a great book and I love anything Martha. One of the actors from the Twilight movies visited a mall in the Chicago area this week and was mobbed. It's very popular.

Hey Melissa - Congrats on the award! It was fun, huh?? I don't know if you're into vampire thrillers or not, but Nora Roberts has a trilology out that features vampires. It's the first time she's ever done one on vamps and at first I was a little hesitant, vamps not really being my thing, but I stuck it out and I LOVED them all - esp. the last one. Its called the "Circle" trilogy. Highly recommend, of course, I love anything by Nora Roberts.
Your blog is looking great ~
Talk to you later.

Hi Melissa! Well Ms. Martha is formidable! AS the french would say! *winks* Can't go wrong with her. And my neice got me hooked on the twilight books...I told her "I wasn't interested in a teen novel" But she persevered and got me hooked!! Now I've read them all, and can't wait to see the movie on the 21st! And as for Dewey? I MUST read it! I am such an animal lover! I hope it doesn't have a sad ending.....Vanna

Girlfriend, congrats on your award and thank you for sharing some of your favorite books with us!

I also wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed your last post on the "Toppers"...you absolutely have some of the most beautiful toppers that I've ever seen and I just love how you've used them throughout your home!!! I have a few at my place and just love the finished look that they give! I just love, love, love the pretty aqua and brown topper that you have in your laundry room (above the colored baskets)...where did you find that one? It would be perfect in my bedroom! Well my friend...have a great day!

Warmest wishes...Chari (Happytodesign)

Hi Melissa :)

Can you imagine how clean Martha's house is? I would hate to be her maid, but I love that woman ;)

I know everyone is crazy about the Twilight series, but I haven't jumped on board yet. The Dewey book sounds really cute!

Hi Melissa, thanks for stopping by my blog. I see that you live in North Carolina too. I am totally hooked on the Twilight series! My youngest daughter and I are going to see the movie together this Wednesday when she gets home from college for Thanksgiving.

Dewey is on my list to read too since I'm a cat lover. The cat in my header picture is Max, he's the biggests and the sweetest of my three cats. He's thirteen now and has slowed down a lot, so napping in the sun is his favorite thing!

I see that you are a military family--I have a friend who is serving with the Marines 3/7 India Company over in Iraq right now. Please tell your husband thanks for his service to our country!
