Happy New Year!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to 2009!
Ours was spent packing up decor' and organizing it.
I bought new storage bins and had fun with that.
I am an organizing fanatic. Love it!
Of course my big guy Chestnut decided to help me.
Today marks two official months of blogging.
I want to say a special thank you to everyone!
You have all been kind and supportive.
I starting blogging not sure what to expect or blog
about really and I really do enjoy it very much.
Here's to a wonderful 2009! Cheers!

Happy New Year to you Melissa! Hope you're feeling better today - I did figure out how to post to Micassa (finally)!! I saw the "post comment" button on my computer at home, I was at work yesterday and for some reason it was not showing up??
Anyway, I am so glad to have met you through cyber space and can't wait to meet for real - don't forget we're going to try to do that soon!!

Oh Melissa, a very Happy New Year to you too! I am so glad to have met you as I am so new to blogging as well. You have been just so gracious and kind and your comments are so uplifting. I can't thank you enough for suggesting I participate in Susan's Tablescape Tuesday. It was so much fun and I met so many wonderful new friends and I have you to thank for it! I see that one of my dear friends, Bella-Mella has become one of your followers and the two of you have a love for the Keurig coffeemaker. That's great about blogging - making connections with people who have similar likes, interests and hobbies! I can't wait to read your posts in 2009! I am sure we will become great friends!

Hi Melissa, I spent today packing up my decorations and taking down my tree too. It feels good to have it done. My "personal assistant" Oliver, my 3-year old cat "helped" me every step of the way. My two senior citizen cats Dulcie and Max would rather nap! Your Chestnut sure is a big fellow!

Hi Melissa! Thanks so much for coming to visit me at Micasa and for your sweet remarks! I'm actually going to do my first Tablescape Tuesday with that post. Yes...the plates are coming off of the wall...wooo hooo!! Happy New Year!...Debbie

Hi Melissa, I was just on my way over when I saw your comment. Thanks for the nice compliments! Chestnut looks so comfy perched up on that dining room table. Coco lays on my dining room table sometimes too. She likes very strange places. If I leave a cabinet open, she crawls in!

I wish I liked organizing, I tend to get impatient and start stuffing things. I'm going to start my packing on Sat., maybe I'll take a little more time this year.

Thanks for leaving a nice comment on blog catalog. I just signed up on that the other day and don't know much about it. I'm glad you told me about Carolina Panache, she is a great decorator and has some wonderful ideas!

One more thing....What's Micasa? Is it like RMS? I saw a comment you left on Debbie's page. Just wondering. Kristen
