Hello Everyone!
I am starting to have quite a collection of tables.
Join me for a tour.
The bombe chests are my favorite pieces of furniture. They have been great for storage as well as decorative.
The one on the left came from Sam's Club.
These are little accent tables for our formal living room.
Here is the latest find for our master bedroom.Have a wonderful week!

Hi Melissa!
I always purchase things that I don't know where I'll put...that's part of the fun of it!
Awesome tables! Great pieces to move around for a different look.
Thanks for stopping by my 1st Pink Saturday post and your sweet comments!
Have a happy week!
Hi Melissa,
Wow, you do have a lot of tables. Every display looks so nice, you really have a way with decorating.
I'm with you, the Bombe' tables are my favorite too.
Wendy
You have found my weakness! Tables! My sister told me I have a thousand tables, but you have so much more than I do, so I feel a whole lot better!
I love all your tables, each has it's place and function, your home is so lovely, I enjoyed your tour of tables immensely!
Oh Melissa that one bombay chest from Ashley just screamed GLORIA did you hear it girl !!! hope it didn't hurt your ears..OMG you have some beautiful furniture..and girl my DH would't know what it was to sit at a table he eats every night in front of the TV...I just yelled from the kitchen "get your tray" and he's waiting for his dinner plate...tell me he not a spoiled brat lol!! The only thing my table is for is company..Hey at least the table cloth never get dirty..ha ha!! thanks so much for the great Table Tour girl...just lovely..hugs and smiles Gloria
Hi Melissa, You have some beautiful tables! I love the bombe chest with the ironwork, but they are all beautiful! Your latest find looks perfect in the bedroom. I have a weakness for little antique tables with the curvy legs. I have a gold one with a design, but don't have the room for anymore. Whenever I go to antique malls I am always checking them out. My aunt, who is a fabulous decorator, uses the most unique and cutest tables everywhere. I might do a future post on her. She recently redecorated the offices down at the family business. The whole place looks like you stepped into a magazine! I would love to post her house too. I had no part in it, but I know everyone would love it. Anyways, this was a great post. Oh, and the coffee table is great too. We recently bought a new sofa for hubby's room (about time) we had the other one for 10 yrs! I am looking for a small ottoman that flips over and has trays. I found a few online, just not sure yet. I might go to Dallas this weekend, maybe I'll look there. Talk to you soon, Kristen
Wow, Melissa! I don't know where to start! You have such a nice collection of tables! Of course I love the Bombé chest, too, and the one with the iron scroll work and the one in the foyer...heck, I love them all! But I have never seen anything like the one that rises to dining level in the living room! That is a football watchers dream! Yes, Baby kitty sat in his new pose for quite a while, looking at me like...So? Can't wait to see your doggie post...hugs...Debbie
I've got a sussy for you on my Monday blog!
Melissa, as usual a great post. I love all the wonderful tables you find, and you do have such a great way of using and accessorizing them. Your new table is just beautiful. Looks like a piece that can go anywhere. Can't wait to see where you put all these gorgeous pieces in your new house. Hugs, Marty
LOVED your tour of tables, Melissa! I especially loved those bombay chests, and your curtains in the living room - to die for! Mmmm, very very yummy! Hope you had a great weekend! Have a happy Monday!
Melissa, I love your new table - well, all of your tables really. And yes, I almost never know where something is going to be placed in my home when I purchase it! Maybe that's why my home is cluttered. But if I love it, I'll find a spot for it! laurie
Melissa, I "loved" your your tour of tables. I have quite a weakness for them myself. :-) I used to buy things and then decide where I was going to put them. Well... those days are over. Now, I have to measure, regroup, and measure again to make sure a specific piece is going to work.. Does that tell you my house is a bit on the full side? Oh maybe.. but somehow I always manage to work one more piece in.lol. hugs ~lynne~
Hi Melissa, Great tables AND vignettes! Can't wait to see your BLUE bedroom!
And yes, I have bought furniture, with no plan, but to move it around until it fit somewhere! :) ~hugs, Rhonda
Awesome tables & stuff there lady!
My DH would love your coffee table with the lift top. He refuses to sit at a table to eat. I teasingly mentioned buying a table a couple of days ago & he nearly had a coronary!
Hmmm, I could easily go shopping in your house, so if you suddenly miss a few things, I'm taking care of them for you! ♥
I definitely buy things for the house without a clue of where I'll put them. It's like a puzzle sometimes since our house is on the small side.
I love all of your decorating and the tables. I especially love the console table in the foyer and the lamps and family photos on it. I also like your coffe table with the lifts. That would come in very handy here!
Kirklands, Pier One, and Bombay are all good pics for tables, I agree. Although isn't Bombay out of business now?
The Ashley Furnitire Home Store here went out of business as well.
Melissa, you do have a ton of tables! I love them all, and you have them decorated lovely! Blessings, Nancy
I loved your tour of tables! Awesome! Awesome! You also inspired me to use more tables in my home. I don't have near this many tables and with just looking at your tour, I've thought of a couple of spots that you have tables at that would go in my home too! Thanks girl!
Have a great week!
Hi Melissa,
I LOVE ALL of your tables! My favorite is the one in your entry. It's absolutely stunning!
Have a blessed week!
Teri
Melissa, I think all your tables look great and many of them can be very easily interchanged to mix things up a bit when you get bored with them!!
And yes, I purchase things all that time that I have no idea where I'll place it once I get it home. I have this saying, "If something SPEAKS to me, I must buy it and I WILL find a place for it in my home!"
Blessings,
Sher
Hello Melissa - I think they are all beautiful but my favs are the french gold console and the iron scroll console. I adore those. Your table that lifts for eating is awesome, too.
Hi Melissa,I'm here as promised and glad I got to see all your tables, just gorgeous!Myfavorite is the bombe and your question made me think of the one I regret not buying.I saw it,loved it,couldn't think where to put it,didn't buy it and regretted it ever since.Oh well, someday I will find another and I won't think twice about where it will go.When you love something, you find a place. My hubby would be so jealous of the table that flips up,he has admired it many times at Ashley's.Cyndi
Love the Bombe chests. mishelle
It looks very beautiful:)
I have an Award for you on our blog:)

Good morning Melissa!
It looks like you love tables as much as I love lamps! My husband said I had 18 at last count about a month ago. All of your tables are beautiful and look like they were made for the spaces you have them in. Isn't Ross the greatest store. I've gotten some steals in there and actually did look at a painted "table" there last week (still debating). I love tables and chest too, but I'm running out of places to put many more. I acquired a beautiful table base last month that I want to paint and put a top on, but haven't started THAT project yet. Maybe I'll post a before and after when I start. Of course, after it's finished it will HAVE to have lamp to complete it.:) Hope you have a good week. I'll try and get something posted shortly. ~Elizabeth
I love little tables but don't have many of them. I need to work on that!!
I loved your tour of tables. I do lots of shopping at Kirklands to, they are having a 75% sale, but we're going out of town for a week, so I'll probably miss out on this one. I'm kind of a table freak, I so need to replace some of them with chairs to set on. But, it's so hard to decorate a chair. LOL
Hugs,
Chris
Melissa, I love your tour of tables. The console in the dining room and the Bombay chests are my personal favorites. I also enjoyed the way you decorated the tops of your tables. You are one creative girl! ~*~Leanne~*~
Hi Melissa!
I loved your tour of tables! Isn't it so much fun creating little vignettes all around the house. And, when you feel like a new look, you can simply switch things around! Everything looks so cozy!
Carol
Hi Melissa...I sure did enjoy your beautiful tables tour...your home is gorgeous! I have the exact iron scroll style Bombe' chest from Ashley Furniture. I loved it the minute I saw it & still do! ;-) Bo
"Have you ever purchased a piece of furniture not knowing where it was going to fit in your home?"
Nearly every time I buy something. ;o) You have some lovely tables Melissa. I just got a really neat, tiny drop-leaf table @ GW the other day.
I love my bombe' too! Can't wait to see your blue monday post.
Hi Melissa! Oh, how I've enjoyed your table tour! I see a few that I really need! Could I come to your home and shop? lol You've decorated them very beautifully, too!
Now, yes, the Bathroom Diva business has been going on for some time and we have such fun with it. Anytime you would like to join the Divas, just snap and let me know! I'll make you famous!
Be a sweetie and thanks for the visit,
Shelia ;)
LOVE love the table that lifts up !!
I love them all.........
Tables are like lamps and dishes; you can never have enough.
These are so beautiful; don't you just love wood and wrought iron.
Have a good day.
blossom
Melissa, I love all of your tables. I wish I had room for more tables. And don't tink I overlooked your accessories. I love all of them. And you are great at pulling them all together. Thanks for sharing!
Hugs, Terrie
I think that anyone that enjoys their home as much as we all do has a problem with purchasing things and then trying to incorporate them into the decor. It is part of the fun and challenge. You did a great job!
~Liz
What a great tour - I love them all and all the pretties sitting on them!!
I just sent you an email, too.
Hi Melissa! Oh goody! I love looking at your beautiful things! Look at all those gorgeous tables! wow! Each one is special, beautiful AND functional! ;) I was admiring your little accessories on them. I love tables too just for the display space alone! Who doesn't love a bombe' chest? Beautiful! - and I have never seen that coffee table one - Oh I better not show my husband that! I would never get him at the table again. OH and I say YES! to your question - I do that all the time - see something you HAVE to have - not knowing where it will go but you know you will find a place for it. All looks beautiful - can't wait to see the bedroom next... ~ Laurie
Now thats my kind of post!! I love all your tables, but mind you I do have a bit of a table fetish!! Hope you are well! Talk soon...
Melissa, I love your top table -- it looks so elegant !
We have a Kirkland's here, but it's at the other end of town.
May have to pay them a visit............. hmmmm
Hi Melissa...

Girlfriend, I was just going through all the photos on this post of all your beautiful tables!!! I do believe you are the "Queen"...you have so many!!! Way to many...you need to share a couple with me...hehe!!! I recognized a few of them from RMS...they are all absolutely gorgeous! I do love the new one that you got for Christmas though...beautiful!!!
Love ya,
Chari
Surely did enjoy the tour..and the ticket price...who can complain? LOL...
I do love that coffee table...but agree bombe' chests are just too fabulous.
One of the best things for me was the designer program at Kirklands...it sure helps me, help my clients.

Now, I must give you what I came to do...here it is...
T~H~A~N~K Y~O~U !!!!!
For your wonderful and most gracious support of post 100 :)Your voice has made a difference and brought us one step closer to the goal!
YEAH!!!!!!!!
You have some great stuff, GF. You always have really neat posts on your blog - this was a good one. I love all your tables, and I am a Bombay kind of gal, too. I have been looking for some Bombay chests to use as bedside tables to go with my plantation poster bed. They are never high enough but your Ashley one looks like it would work. I live 10 minutes away, when can I come pick it up? LOL Can u do lunch next week? Are you too busy? Ducks...my treat! You can email me at barbgarrettnc@yahoo.com when you get a chance. Thanks, Barb
Nice tables! I'm so happy you're going to do the Valentine's Day swap...it's going to be fun. I just love making new blog friends...
your home is absolutely beautiful! I love all of your tables. I think the bombays are my favorite.
I think I do have a name for my body care business...Calming Scents!
Loved taking your "Tables Tour." Melissa, everything in your home is gorgeous! The displays are perfection...
I love all your vignettes!! I don't think I could pick a favorite!!!
Hi Melissa, What a fun table tour this is! You have everything displayed so nicely, you do have a flair for decorating!
Your home is beautiful!
I've done worse than buy furniture without having a place for it... We're house shopping, but I already bought the furniture. So now we just have to find the perfect house to hold it all. :)

I am always purchasing things I love and have no idea where they will go!
Next let me say, there isn't one I don't LOVE! Great style you have, Mrs. MM! I especially love the goldish one in your entry and the bombe chests...too cute!
We need to go shopping together as I am in true need of new tables for my living room and family room while we're at it. ;)
Hello Melissa,

Hi Melissa,
Thanks for the hints and for entering the giveaway! I would love to make one of those buttons, but honestly I don't have a clue on how to do that. Do you know how?
Hi Melissa, how is your fly guy doing? Sure appreciate our folks in service. My Dad was US Airforce 20 years active, 10 years reserve,so I understand.
You have quite a collection there but all serve a purpose and look pretty the way you have them set up. I have seen a bombay style little chest I want but can't afford to get right now. I know the spot for it too!
Always enjoy your posts.
Linda
Thanks for your sweet TT comments!
Have a happy week!
You have a lovely home. I am not blesses with the decorating gene.

Hi Melissa, I love all the tables, and each one has a lovely vignette on it. I hope you have a table that is free from clutter because you won my give a way over at Amelia Rose Cottage. Come over and give me your home address.........Sharon K
I have lots of tables too...except not as pretty as yours. Mine are dining /kitchen tables. I guess now that I have finally found the right ones I can stop collecting and now collect side/end tables:-)
Hi Melissa,
I love the colors in your home. Can you tell me the name of the paint colors in your formal dining room?
--Michele
Hi Michele, :)
The paint colors are from
"Lowes" and are "Cooper Molero Fandango Red" and the deep Gold is called "Chicory".
We painted all the rooms three years ago.
I'm not sure if they have carry them still.
Good Luck!
Thanks for visiting and your compliment.
~Melissa :)
Hi Melissa
Your have a wonderful collection of tables! I wish there were a Kirkland store near me. I visited one in AZ once and I wanted to buy so much.
The buttermilk pie recipe in your post below sounds so good, and your tablescape is so pretty!
Hugs, Pat

rue

Melissa congrats to you girl for wining Sharon kay give away...thats so cool ...hugs and smiles Gloria
Hi Melissa,
LOVE you beautiful tables! Don't you just love Kirkland's? I didn't know about this wonderful store til I moved to Georgia. Actually - there are quite a few stores here that we didn't have in Washington, I love Home Goods for some great asnd unique items too. You have such a flair for decorating. Thank you for your suggestions on my bathroom dilemma. I will definitely post pictures when I start adding things in there. I love your idea for colors too. May have to go get a bunch of paint samples to get the best color for this big project of mine!
Have a great day today!
Kymber

Wow...just wow. I like them ALL but that brass table with the glass top is so cool! Yep, I think that one would have to be a favorite of mine.
oh yeah and by the way.... I thought it to be really neat how your wall paint matches the colors of your blog.
Im just a little to perceptive sometimes.
Tim
Than you so much for sweet comment on our blog:)
Have a blessed day:)

Melissa, I have found that if I am looking for space for a piece of furniture, I move one table or chair and all of a sudden inspiration hits. For me it's a balance thing.
Your home is lovely. In my city everyone usually meets out with the gals, or the men play golf in season. I think it's because it is not warm enough and have to put the layers on to go out.
Last week we went to a cute place and immediately spotted the fireplace and guess where we sat ?
I think it is so nice you love to cook. When children leave, special dishes get forgotten -- cooking is great when you have the people to cook for.
Love your blog !
Hey girl thanks for coming by and seeing my Dreaded room..it does mean the world to me to have your support...as I know my kind of stuff isn't for everyone..thanks again...hugs and smiles Gloria
Melissa, they are just wonderful, and I love your latest find. You are so good at this. I also love the colors of your rooms. I like the way you have them displayed, too. God job!
XO,
Sheila :-)
I hope Chestnut gets a place on the museum wall.. He certainly deserves it.. hugs ~lynne~
Oh I love all of the tables! Your post is making me want to go furniture shopping!
p.s. I tagged you :0)
Love all your tables, Melissa. I have a weakness for tables too. Thanks for visiting my space on Micasa....Christine
Miss Melissa~ I don't know what I liked more... the beautiful tablescape or the yummy buttermilk pie. I clicked the pic to enlarge the recipe. I haven't had a slice of buttermilk pie in many years.
The "tons of tables" would all fit very comfortable in my house. I want a Ashly furniture store in my town too. I've been hunting all over for a pop up coffee table. My neighbor has one that I enjoy playing with till I find my own.
Sweet Wishes,
Sara
Just wanted to say hi, hope all is well!
Melissa, I'm glad you like the pictures and the blog dress.:-) Hubby is doing ok.. that's just the way it is around here..up and down. Hope all is well your way.
hugs ~lynne~
Melissa girl...you have some yummy tables! I love Kirkland also. I wish I had more places to put some more tables...but yours are GREAT! Thanks for sharing.
Hia Melissa, my what a collection of tables. What you said about having a welcome place in your hallway for guests has imspired me to do something with the wobbly shelf over the radiator in ours.
As far as furniture goes, when we sold the Medieval farm house to live here, a lot of furniture had to go. I am still finding homes for things 5 years on and swapping things around including rooms.
Thank you for the tour.
Hi Melissa,
I found you on Daphine's blog...wow!...so happy I did! Your have a beautiful blog AND a gorgeous home! You've done such a nice job decorating it!
Hope you'll stop by sometime and say hello...I enjoy meeting new people!
Hi Melissa,
I love all your tables. We have very similar tastes. I have ones from Sam's Club to Kirkland, also. Love the way you have them arranged.
Oh my, what lovely tables. I love every single one of them.
I love tables and lamps (vintage) and have plenty of them.
Thanks for the visit and kind comments! :-)
Ok, I caved. I'm following just a few of my favorite friends now... ♥ Diane
Thanks for the visit!
I took the little flower quiz on the side...I'm a Petunia. That's our dogs name. haha
Have a great weekend too!
ps your home is pretty!
Haven't we all?But we always find a place for them don't we?Ann
