Hello Everyone!
Welcome to What's On Your Wall Wednesday.
Our hostess is Barb at Grits and Glamour.
Pay her a visit for a full list of event participants.
Thank you for hosting Barb!
was that I could divide everything into four styles.
Mirrors, iron, wood and tuscan art.
It seems I have many items on my walls.
The scroll wall art in a deep brown is from QVC.
The tuscan style cafe' print is in our dinette area.
I found the topper above it just recently on Ebay.
The tuscan print is on a wood carved shelf.
It came from Kohl's. I love that it looks really old.
This wood mirror came from Target and hangs in our entry.
The gold mirror is from Kirklands.
The plate racks hold more tuscan style artwork.
All from Kirklands.
Our wedding and a Marine Corps Ball photos.
I also have a fairly large collection of initial items.
A few made it on to the walls.
The black and gold M print is from Ballards.
More tuscan style abstract artwork.
The large print is from Kirklands and three
dimensional ivory art is from BB& Beyond.
Have a wonderful week!

Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Melissa, you home is so warm and welcoming, and all the wonderful artwork you have is always just the right touch. I especially like the iron pieces that you sprinkle throughout your home. You and your DH make a gorgeous couple and I love those pics. Hugs, Marty
It's absolutely gorgeous! Do you use much of the blue in your home? My home is decorated in the same colors as yours, but I find I'm wanting to incorporate more blues and creams. Just curious!
You have great style! Not to mention you are such a cutie....Robyn
Everything is so pretty, Melisaa. I wish I could see a close up of the photgraphs...Christine
Melissa, you have some lovely things on your walls! I love all of the iron and grill work, but my favorites are the beautiful pictures of you and hubby! These things make a house a home. Great post. Kathy (ps I see from one of your comments that you're from PC! small world, we drive through every year)
I love your wall things;) i would love to see a close up of that wedding pic it looks divine and you look beautiful;) French
Hi Melissa! Oh, to answer your question - I use little plate stands. I know how hard it is with these glass shelves. A man must have invented this! lol Now I have a place on my top shelf with a little lip of wood and then the glass. I can prop a plate up there. But the little stands work great. When you get yours ready, make sure you let me know!
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;)
What beautiful wall art, Melissa!
Great post Melissa! The wedding & ball pictures are so very special. Hmmm, if you find an empty spot where the cafe picture hung, don't worry, I'm taking care of for you...
☺ Diane

i'm also a huge fan of iron work and bronze pieces. I have them all over my house.
Melissa, I just love seeing your beautiful home, all your things are fun. I like that arrangement in your dining room. Beautiful photos of the two of you!
Then I had to have a cry too, your music playing, that song always reminds me of my brother who passed and got to me. Partly because of hormones this week too! Gees, I could cry at anything then.
Thanks for the fun tour.
Linda

Melissa, your wall art looks beautiful! Love all the iron, and the pictures of you and your hubby are beautiful!Kevin and I don't have a big one of us. I've been meaning to get our wedding one blown up.....for 15 yrs. lol!
Glad you liked the initial frame! I can do one just like it, I already have the frame and "M". I admit I was thinking about you but thought "M" would be a good one to try anyways.lol! Sassy got a hold of some of the ribbon, but I can get more tomorrow. Is it ok if the frame is turned the other way? the "M" is wider than the "B". The letters seem to fit well in this particular frame. Just let me know. I can get it shipped out before we leave on Sunday. Thanks, Kristen

I love your pretty initial art also...I think I'm going to have to start looking for some for my place...love the look!!!
Well Sweetie...hope that your having a terrific Thursday...

Melissa, This has be so much fun to look at! I love it all! Your home is beautiful! Blessings, Nancy
The catalog for Ballard's Spring collection just got off the press...the items are fantastic...and so reminded me of your spaces!
Love the artwork. I think I have that same iron piece you have on your red wall, but have no where to put mine in this house. Love the one you just got from eBay too, and your wedding photo. Reminds me of an Officer an A Gentleman. To answer your ?, I haven't seen many movies (unless they're Disney, since I had my kiddo), but I need to see that. I know alot of women think BP is cute, but fortunatley, he doesn't do much for me! :O)
Melissa,
Your wedding picture is beautiful!
Smiles,
Carol
This is such a fun post Melissa, I really enjoyed seeing all the things on your walls. You have such a flair for decorating.
Melissa, Love all your items! You have gorgeous wall displays! Wonderful post, and the colors of your walls are really lovely! ~CC Catherine
We all have our addictions. At least toppers are pretty harmless! :O) I have a few myself. In fact, I have a few iron wall grates & mirrors I haven't hung in this house b/c I don't have a place for them. Are you still moving?
Oh Thank you Melissa, I'm glad you like part of the new merchandise.. that's only the front part of the shop. This time of year I have a tax business as well..so I'm truly meeting myself coming and going..lol hugs ~lynne~
Hehe...just left Mary's place and came back to mine to find your note...Girlfriend, I know that we have the same decor taste...hehe!!! Aren't those crowns just adorable?
Melissa, my friend...I was just looking at the photo on this last blog of the pictures of you and your husband...Girlfriend, you are absolutely gorgeous!!! You look like a beauty queen...and the best thing is...that you're just as beautiful on the inside!!! Just had to say something...
Okay, where is your new topper? Are you going to post on it tomorrow? Can't wait to see it...
Love ya,
Chari
I love your pictures and iron work decor. Our tastes are similar. Your house is decorated so pretty.
I think my favorite is the one on the bottom! I have lots of those big heavy looking pieces...but use plate stands to hold them on the kitchen counters!
thanks for the visit! hope you have a great weekend
Wall art to me is like the stars in the night sky. MORE is prettier! I like the color of your walls, and how you accented them with the iron. Mirrors- you can't go wrong! AND-the wedding photo! OMG - you are gorgeous!
Hi Melissa!! Great Walls!!
Chari got 1st dibs on the Crown to the right- I still have 1 of the crowns that is to the left of picture. If you would like it let me know- actually could you either way as I have a few in the waiting for a chance at one if you decide not to get it.

Hi Melissa! Thanks for dropping by! I found the blue & white balls at Pier 1 last week. I wish they'd had a 3rd one! The crystal bowl was usually empty since I wasn't happy with anything I ever put in it until I bought the balls. It was whooo hoooo moment! ☺ Diane
Hi Melissa...
Thanks so much for your visit and encouraging words.
I'm feeling MUCH better now. But, I do need to take some time away and get my TO DO list done!!!
~Blessings,
Jan
Hi Melissa! Well you already know I love all your "toppers" but now I was really eyeing that carved wood shelf you got from Kohl's. Not to mention the mirrors and all the pretty artwork & plates...(um, I think I just mentioned everything?) but hey Missy, you need to show us a close up of that wedding & ball photo!! How beautiful you both look..and how romantic!...:) Have a great weekend. ~ Laurie
Everything looks so nice, Melissa!
I love mirrors, too...they really reflect the light around. Your open metal work pieces are very pretty, too! I love how you've used them!
Have a happy weekend!
;-D
What a great wall tour, love all your treasures... hope all is well, talk soon...
Melissa, what is the name of your gold paint?
Thanks, Donna
Beautiful wall art! Lovely home.
Hey Melissa,
Love your walls. You and I have a lot in common - color schemes, accessory and furniture styles. Love it! Hey, last weekend I found out that some really good friends of mine are moving to your town. Their daughter married a Marine and he is now staitioned there for the next 2 years or so. They will be moving in the next 6-8 weeks. Once they are settled I will popping over to visit them. I hope we can meet for coffee while I'm in town! How fun. Doesn't Barb - Grits and Glamour - live in your town too?
By the way have you decided on the items you want to purchase with your GC giveaway? Just let me know and I will get them shipped right to you.

Hi Melissa, it is so sweet of you to stop by to see the suitcase full of pink. I'm always amazed at how much pink I have around here. lol.. I'm looking forward to seeing your new pretty on the wall.. (did I tell you the check came the same day you recieved yours? ) I hope you're having a super w/k.. hugs ~lynne~
Melissa- we ended up going to the big city and they had another crown like the one Chari got from me- let me know if you want it! There is also another one that I found that is looks very similar to this one except it is quite a bit smaller- funny thing is that it was the same price as the bigger one!
Mary

~Liz
PS thanks for your kind comments on my giveaway! Your name is in the hat!
Hi Melissa,
You and I are true kindred spirits - I love all of your ironwork and hope to eventually do what you have done on your walls. I have never thought to look for it on Ebay - I will have to check it out!
It all looks great! I want to show my hubby this post of yours because he seems to think that it will be too much if we have more than one piece in our home. I think the more the better - right?
Everything looks so beautiful - thanks for sharing!
I love the picture of you and hubby on your wedding day. You are simply gorgeous in your wedding gown and don't you just love a man in uniform?
Your picture of the two of you at your military ball brings back memories of past naval balls that we have attended. I will have to show mine some time. Military life is such fun - we miss it now that my hubby is retired from the navy. Such a close knit community of people!
Take care,
Kymber
I'm really drawn to the Tuscan decor too. I have similar pics in my kitchenette. I was fortunate to actually find a print with our last name. Everyone thinks I had it professionally made. I've flanked it with my favorite Spode plates.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
I forgot to mention today when I visited your blog...that I hope you do not mind me becoming a follower eventhough...UHMM I Support all our troops but esp the ARMY..since that is the way my Husband rolls but our nephew is in the marines...LOL
Your blog is adorable! I was looking for some Tuscan decor and I came across your page. Have a great day! Vanessa
