Hello Everyone!
It's the first edition of Tablescape Thursday.
It's a brand new day of the week for this event.
Visit Susan at Between Naps On The Porch for more.
He is decorated with fruit and is an actual planter.
I had some twigs and berries I displayed inside.
They are made by Roscher.
They are very sturdy for everday use.
I like the mix of square and round shapes.
A local pottery store is closing soon and
I bought the fringed green napkins and
gold rooster napkin rings for a great price.
I decorated with sugared fruit and dried flowers. The green jar candle is from QVC.
The red glasses are from Target.
Tonights menu is chili. It's freezing tonight!
I made a vignette for the bar to blend in with the table. The rooster napkins are in each bowl at the table.
For dessert brownie pie with whipped cream.
More cold weather comfort food.

Congratulations to Chari! What a fun gift she will receive.
Melissa, I have owned my silk floral business for 20 yrs. (It's my anniv. year!) Several friends have suggested I open an Etsy shop. I am considering it.
I know what you mean about the thoughts of moving. I went through that so many times in our 20 yrs. in the AF. I always looked forward to moving, though. Call me strange, I know! It was always exciting to think about a new house and new friends. Loved that stage of our lives.
Oooo Melissa your Roo is gorgeous! I like those "Roos" too! Pretty with the red dishes, I have seen those at Marshalls. All looks great! Alot of textures and depths to this table, I like it!
Say Hi to your soldier, is he deployed or not right now? Sure appreciate what he does.

Wow Melissa you tablescapes are AWESOME! I also just noticed that you 100% German and her mother (my grandmother) maiden name was Miller. There were nine siblings and my mother who was a Wilkins was a sibling of a total of 4. The Miller reunions I use to go to growing up were HUGE! Who knows we might just be related in some way.
Love and Prayers,
Tim
Totally gorgeous, as always!
I'm bummed I didn't win the crown, but that's ok! Congrats to the winner!

I sure hope I get some bloggers to join me in posting vacation pictures too. It would be fun to see others' sightseeing trips also. Although they might not want to do it yet because I am pretty new and I really do not have a lot of viewers yet. Thanks for always stopping by. You're so sweet!...Christine

Hi Melissa, Your tablescape is sooooo pretty! You know I love all that red. The rooster is so pretty and the plates are perfect!
As you could see, we had a wonderful time in Maui. It was just beautiful! I'm a little depressed now that I'm home in this boring little town. But things will get back to normal soon. Every time we go to the beach (we usually go to Florida) I wonder why we live HERE! lol!
I hope your "M" arrived safely. I got your check, thanks for the nice note. I want to make sure it arrived safely before I cash it though.
The tassel you bought from Nancy was so pretty!
Talk to you soon, Kristen

Love ya,
Chari
Hi Melissa:
I could of swore I commented on your beautiful rooster table, but I didn't see the comment so I am back. Can't get rid of me. lol.
I don't know why I love roosters so much, but I've always had a thing for decorating with them. Maybe it's because I was born in the year of the rooster.
Anyway, I love your tablescape!!!
I keep wanting to tell you also, that I think that picture of you and your hubby on your wedding day is so adorable. What a cute couple you make.
Ginger
Thanks for coming by today, and for your very nice comment. I hope you having a great day and week.
Hi Melissa. Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the comment. You have a gorgeous home. I'm off to check out the rest of your blog.
HAPPY, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Melissa! I hope you are having a wonderful celebration today!
A continuance of love and joy be yours in the future!
