Poulet' Recipe

Hello Everyone!
It's time for Foodie Friday at Designs by Gollum.
One of our favorite comforting meals is called poulet'.
It's a delicious chicken casserole that is easy to make.
Add a fresh green salad and you are ready to serve.
Here are the main ingredients that you will need.
10 ou package of Pepperidge Farm stuffing
1 cup of chicken broth
1 1/2 cups of milk
1/2 cup of mayo
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/cup chopped celery
1/2 stick of melted butter
3 cups boiled tender chicken
2 eggs
Chop the onion into fairly small bite sized pieces.
Boil the chicken breasts.
You want them to stay moist.
I like the chicken to stay in decent chunks.
You may shred it or cut it smaller if you prefer.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
I like mine very moist so I add more broth.
Add S/P to taste.
Transfer to your ovenware dish.
Topping:
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
Spread soup and sprinkle the cheese on the top.
Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
Yummy!
Have a wonderful week!

Hi Melissa - I know this is early, but I wanted to comment while I have the time. Great recipe - thanks for sharing. I am always looking for new ways to prepare chicken since that seems to be all my family will eat! I know I've said this before, but your home is just gorgeous. So warm and inviting and cozy. I would never leave! ~Kim

Melissa, this sounds wonderful! I try to talk my husband into taking me out on Fridays but maybe I'll try it on Saturday ;)

How are the orders coming along? I must share that a dear friend of mine is in your shoes. Her husband is in the pipeline and the class before her husbands had a few "bumps" along the way which is affecting his class. Needless to say, they don't know what to do at this point with their home or her career.

I'm thinking of you and, you are more than welcome to contact me. I always have a shoulder to share with friends.

Fondly,
Jo

OMG, Melissa! I was in TJ Maxx yesterday and bought a plate just like the one you served the Poulet on. I didn't know it was from a set of dishes. I thought it was just a decorative plate. It is really pretty. And I will be trying that recipe!!

Have you found out where you will be stationed yet? Know the waiting must be hard! My dad was military but we stayed in one place his whole career! He (we found out later ) always volunteered for isolated tours so we never were transferred!
