Pink Spring Vignette

Hello Everyone!
It's time for Pink Saturday hosted by
Pay her a visit to see all the pink posts.
I had pink on the brain all week and decided
to try a spring vignette inspired by the color.
I went with a warm shade of hot pink.
I found the spring flowers at Kirklands.
The pink plaid runner is from Marshalls.
It matches the Easter table for my future TT post.
If you enlarge the photo you can catch a glimpse of it.
Look at all the different shades of pink in the flowers.
Here are a white dove pair and a baby dove.
Just in case you wonder who the ladies
are they are wearing the pink ribbons.
A sign to welcome Spring. A cute little nest with eggs.
A close up of the pair and their baby.
Hot pink striped ribbon made into bows.
It was fun decorating with this color.
Happy 1st day of spring!

It looks so pretty!

Do you drug your cat(s) to keep him/them from jumping up and knocking down all of your pretties?

I need to learn your trick!

Hello Dearheart...

Girl, what a fabulously fun and pretty in pink post! I love your new pink flowers, at first I thought you had them in brown vases and then I enlarged the photos (old age...old eyes Hehe!) and could see that the brown was the stems of the flowers! I love how you bundled them up and tied that pretty ribbon on them...simply beautiful!!! Aren't your birdies just the sweetest...I love that baby bird in front...the filigree cut-out designs on it!!! And...I love that sweet pink plaid table runner...gorgeous!!! This vignette just sings Spring's praises!!! You've done a great job, Sweetie! Now is this table in your entryway? I'm thinking so. Oh yes, I see those pretty little Easter eggs hanging from your chandelier...peeking out of the mirror!!! Hehe! What a pretty photo! I love it all...

Have a wonderful weekend, Sweetie!
Love ya,
Chari

I'm coming over from Blog Stalkers Unite, asking for your help. I am in the running for a round trip airfare paid ticket to Connecticut, to meet a friend I became acquainted with through blogging. She is a super fun person and is holding this contest. I entered a funny story titled "Grapejuice Floaties, Now Marry Me." The person whose story receives the most votes will win a trip to meet this generous lady, whom I'm hoping to meet. The voting ends tonight I believe. I am ahead for now but there is a story coming up from behind out of nowhere and I would so, so, appreciate your help. Her blog is www.becausemomsaidso.blogspopt.com and the voting is on the sidebar on the right. "Grapejuice, Floaties" Just go there and cast a vote for me, please. Thanks so much-you're awesome! ♥

Hello Dearheart...

So happy that you came by for a visit this morning! Girlfriend, it sounds like your going to be busy! Do ya'll do the pressure washing yourselves? Sounds like a big project! Our place probably could use a good pressure washing as well but I don't think it's on the agenda! We're still so busy and have so much to do with all of Russell's Dad's property! We plan on going in and doing some updating and rennovations on the house and then I think we're going to rent it out! It's the house that Russell grew up in and he doesn't want to let it go...and it's paid for so we would like to hold on to it!

So glad to hear that Alex is going to get a week off soon...hope ya'll don't have to spend the entire time working so hard and that you can enjoy one another and your time off too!!! Has Alex heard anything about when he may be going to Iraq? I know how the military can be...sometimes you just never know till it happens! My first husband was in the Army for a few years...so I know a little of what it's like!

Well Sweetie...hope that ya'll are having a super Sunday! I'll yak at ya later...
Love ya,
Chari

Hi Melissa,
This afternoon I was over at Michael's and saw some writing paper in the dollar bin. It looked just like the fleur ?? spelling?? on the lower right of your banner. ( I took Latin, not French.)
I thought of you in flash. I would have purchased the pack and sent them to you, but it was the last one, and a little worn from being handled.
If you have a Michael's near you, drop over and check out those bins. I know you would love it -- it has your name on it !!!
Enjoy your evening.....

Mornin' Girlfriend...

So glad that you stopped by to take a peek at my "Brume de Rose" tablescape...thank you (once again) for all of your warm and sweet compliments...you're the best, Girlfriend!

I was just sitting here realizing that I didn't get back to you after your last note...so sorry! I'm sure that you're glad to hire out the powerwashing on the house...I do think that would be quite a job! Where we live..it's very arid...little or no humidity and we just don't get the black or green stuff on our house. Now when I lived in south Texas...that was a different story! Girl, here you're busy with Spring yardwork and you won't believe it...but we're under a severe blizzard warning. It's supposed to snow lots with lots of wind...yuk! In fact, Russell stayed home from work today so he wouldn't get caught away from home! I'm hoping that we don't lose our electricity, of course if we do...we'll be fine! But I'm just getting to old for that much fun! Hehe!!! What are you up to today? I see that tomorrow is "Flaunt your Red" Friday...are you posting anything? I should get something together for it...we'll see how my day goes with the weather and all.

Have a great day, Sweetie and I'll talk with you later...
Love ya,
Chari
