A Place For Tassels

Hello Everyone!
It's time for Three Or More Tuesday.
Pay The Gypsy's Corner a visit for more.
I have found another interest since I've been blogging.
Tassels! Have you shopped Etsy yet?
So many bloggers create handmade items to sell.
Tassels are fun and can be displayed anywhere.
This finial with leopard was made by Miss Nancy.A gold fleur de lis made by Miss Nancy.
A tulip with toile made by The Tassel House.
A close up view of all of the details.
A precious rooster made by Miss Nancy.
A sweet redbird made by Miss Nancy.
A close up view. Love the gingham!
A pumpkin made by The Tassel House.
A close up view of the soft colors.
A black bird tassel has found some friends.
The details are so pretty on this one.
It was made by The Tassel House.
The eiffel tower made by The Tassel House.
A black knob tassel by The Tassel House.
A heart ornament with a crystal drop.
Another one from The Tassel House.
An ornament tassel in blue made by Miss Nancy.
Just an ivory tassel I found at Kirklands.
It hangs on our armoire in the master bedroom.
The drapery tassels are from BB & Beyond.
Have a wonderful day!

Even though my blog is relatively new, it has already gained a page rank of 5. I was wondering if you would like to appear on my blog, explaining some of your best collections to my readers?

Thanks. I wanted to answer your question about Bogey. He will have surgery this morning around 10 to 11am. I say this morning because I am typing this at 3am CST. LOL Cant sleep. I miss him so much. Usually of Im up he is siting with me in my chair so it really stinks not having him her and knowing what he is about to go thru. The good news is that they can save his leg and his long term effects should be minimal. The leg will end up a little shorter since it broke along a growth plate that wont be able to expand with the pins in, but he wont lose any mobility over it. We are super excited about that, but not so excted that he will be in so much pain afterwards. If you follow me on twitter, I usually tweet about whats going on as it happens. I will also try to update on the blog.

Love and Prayers,

Hey Girlfriend...

Just wanted to stop by to say hello and see what you've been up to! Russell finally went back to work today...after being off for a week! Boy, these vacations sure hinder my blogging...hehe! I haven't been at the computer much and I'm feeling a bit estranged! Maybe I can get back to my "normal" routine! We ended up doing alot of work around the house...mostly yard work! Took out several old elm trees that were dead...what a job! But we had lots of fun playing too!!! hehe!

Girl, you've been busy! I just love your tassle have so many beautiful tassles!!! In fact, I really couldn't even pick out a favorite because I loved them all!!! Don't you just love decorating with them? I just bought another one from Hobby Lobby the other day for my Grandma's hutch that I put in my dining room! I sure did enjoy seeing how you used all of those gorgeous all of those pretty lamps (by the way!) I have hung a few around the corners of some of my picture frames too...I really hadn't seen anyone do that and I came by it "quite by accident"...hehe! I think it adds a bit of decor to a pretty frame and the wall art!

Well my friend...what have ya'll been up to lately? I sure do hope that my note finds you and Alex well...I'll talk with you later Sweetie!!!

Love ya,

Tricia Anne said...

Hi Melissa,
Me again. About Chester being a Maine Coon. If you found him you never will be sure that he is a full blood maine coon but he has all the signs for it. The M on the forehead means he is a tabby. You see this with all tabby ( striped ) cats. What you should look for is a dip between te nose and the forehead. If it is a slope he morelikely is a Norvegian Forest cat but if he has a dip than he is more likely to be a MC. What you also can look for if he has snowshoes...hears between the toes and he should also carrie some lynx tips on the ears. He so reminds me of my own Jack. On my blog you can find my MC website and you can meet my MC's.I have 8!
Greetings and thanks for the visit.
PS. Chester is gourgous!

I am working on it right now but needed a break so I reading my fav. blogs. I love the tassels. The rooster one was my favorite until I scroll down and saw the blue and brown on the drapery panels. I am a blue and brown girl at heart but hat rooster one is so original. Thanks for sharing and giving me a much needed blogger break!

Oh Melissa, what gorgeous and creative tassels!

I LOVE Etsy -- my daughter Anne will be setting up a shop there I think.

And -- I always LOVE when I find a comment from you on my blog -- you are so good for me, with your lovely generous comments -- you just make me smile all the time!

Thank you, my friend -- and I love that tassels have found new uses now that burlesque queens aren't using them on body parts!

PS How do you manage the drapery tassels? I have some for my parlor and powder room, but can't figure out how to use them!

Okay, I'm in love with the red bird tassel. I shall have to go visit her and see if she has more. I didn't see a place to email you. But you asked about my ribbon storage. I got those at Michaels with my coupon. I think they were Making Memories brand perhaps. They were about $80 before my 40% off. Well worth the money. Just has dowels you slip through. So easy. Email if you want more info.
