Santa Chestnut

Hello Everyone!
I hope all is going well for you.
Join me and I will show you our outdoor decor'.
An M doormat from QVC.
Isn't it nice to see the warm glow of lights through windows?
Here is our dining room window at night.
The front rocker has a Santa Chestnut pillow.
The front door bow and wreath.
The red multi tree from the living room window.
Visit my previous post to see both of our trees.
Welcome to the Millers!
A Christmas wreath mini flag with an M.
The front porch decor'.
It's a classic look with wide red ribbon and garlands.
The view fom the sidewalk.
The white lights twinkle like little stars.
Today was also Chestnut's Christmas photo day.
What to wear...Hmmm?
He has his own room and Christmas stuff.
Yes, he's our fur baby.
His fish stocking is ready for kitty treats from Santa.
I decided the Santa hat it is.
Look who isn't too happy about this photo idea.
No Mommy! I don't like hats. They make me look like a girl.
Okay, you get one.
Love, Santa Chestnut
Have wonderful week!

Oh my gosh that is just tooo funny! Our cats would never let me do that. Well my baby girl Sophie use to tolerate stuff like going for a walk on a leash and taking Santa pics at the mall but that did not last long!Ha! Yes I said I use to try and walk my cat. The Hubster pretended he did not know me. I think I only attempted it twice but she did use to go on rides in the car with us. Once across the country. We even stopped at the beach. She was not too fond of that either.

I have a scar on my hand from the time I tried to dress up my cat, Boots, in Hush Little Baby's shirt- all was fine until I snapped it around his neck! Chestnut seems a little more willing and I love the stocking!! :)

Melissa, I love the pics of the outside looking in. They turned out great and I like the shots of the outside. They look so warm and inviting.

Ha! Love your cat in his hat! That is very cute. We don't do much outside anymore, especially when it seems that I'm the only one to do it! I pretty much keep things limited to the front door area.

Hi Melissa! You know I had to come straight over to see Santa Chestnut! He looks so cute in his hat! I have never tried to put one on any of my staff! Now you have me wondering what they would do! Well..except Ozzie. She would NEVER stand for that! lol Your home is so pretty at night...love the lights...classic! Tell Chestnut that he makes a good Santa! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie

Melissa,
Your porch looks so festive and bright! Of course, you would have that sweet monogrammed doormat. It's so pretty. And tell Chestnut the Santa hat does not make him look like a girl. :)

Furbaby is cute. I don't do cats due to allergies but he is adorable. I like the classic decor on the outside. It looks nice.

And your kitty....that is way cute!

Melissa, I love the photos of your home at night. What sparkle and glow- how do you take such great shots? Mine didn't get posted because they all looked so bad!

That poor little fur baby of yours does not look happy! We used to dress up our cats in my little sister's doll clothes. Both Walter and Theodore pranced around acting as if they were hot stuff. LOL

Merry, Merry! Sue

The tree looks so pretty from the outside looking in. The pillow on the chair outside really does look like Chestnut. That is so cute! I love that you have one tree with white lights and one with multicolor lights. The photo of the front porch looks so festive and beautiful. Chestnut’s fish stocking is too cute and he looks adorable in his Santa hat!

I hope you had a nice weekend!

Oh girl.. this was just too cute for words. Chestnut is adorable. Our cocker spaniel gets Santa Ho's and new purses to play with, last year a sweater; I haven't tried a hat yet. Be sure to let Chestnut know he was very handsome, not girly at all..
Your home looking from the outside in is gorgeous!!! Hope all is well your way. Continued prayers for you , your daddy and family.

Oh Melissa, the expressions on Chestnut's face are just priceless! It's times like that you are grateful your pet cannot talk, because surely he'd be letting loose with some very rude language! :-P

He looks awfully cute, though. I can't believe he is so patient!

I love the shot of the outside of your house -- love how the entrance is just glowing, and welcoming. Beautiful!

Merry Christmas!

Hello Melissa~I needed a chuckle and Chesnut delivered. The expression on his face...priceless.
Wouln't we love to know what our kitties are thinking at moments like these.

My nerves are on edge. My poor kitty has developed a horrible limp in her leg and is struggling to get around. She'll be heading to the vets soon, but until then I'm fretting cause shes gettin up there in age and her weight is an issue too. We worry about our fur babies...they are our family.

Sweet Christmas Wishes,
Sara

So happy to see a new post !! I love your pictures ... your outside decor looks so festive and warm ... I'd want to stop and visit! I LOVE the picture looking in at your dining room ... my fave! And, Chestnut is quite the good sport. My furry baby, Eden, would rip me to shreds (and she's declawed!) if I even attempted to put a cute cap on her. LOL Going back for another visit. :) Hugs, Becca

Ooooooh!!! I just love Santa Chestnut!!! I put my Bailey in a doggie Santa hat this year for his picture (I have to get it up on my blog soon!). He wasn't too happy about it either. Kevin had to stand next to me holding a treat next to my camera lens to get Bailey to look at me and not swat the hat off his head! lolol

I love the elegant simplicity of your outdoor decor. It is just right! :-)

I love your simple lights. Your house was meant for Christmas lights - it looks like a Christmas card picture! The cat is cute too. My cat wouldn't let us catch him if he saw us coming at him with a Santa hat or antlers.

Melissa, just to let you know - Chestnut is #1 in my book. Any cat that would let you put a hat on him - what a good sport. (MOTHER! What were you thinking) But it did make us all crack up! LOL!
Your home looks wonderful. I love the view from the base of the stairs. Your decor just says "welcome, come on in and have something warm to drink."
Thanks for joining in! Very fun!
