Hello Everyone!

I hope your Christmas was merry.

We did not travel this year and did have a quiet one.

I do miss my family in Florida very much and have

many travel plans coming up for 2010. I can't wait!

I received a Kirklands gift card from my in laws.

Most of you know it's my favorite place to shop.

Join me and I'll show you what I found.

It's a new kitchen console table.

I had a table here before but moved it to the guest room.

It's a dark wood with an iron scroll design.
Plenty of storage for linens.
The scrolls open for displaying my favorite roo's.
More storage inside. Another set of dishes maybe?
It's a perfect match to our Ashley dinette with the rope trim.
My parents sent us some red roses.
They are cheerful and festive looking.
I'm enjoying this new piece of furniture.

Peace On Earth

Here is our Christmas tablescape ready to go.

The table is set with our green tree dishes from Cracker Barrel.
This festive tree setting is called Peace On Earth.
Ornament name holders are from BB& Beyond.
I added a berry ring from Michaels to each one.
Look at the precious pinecone and redbird ornament made
by my sweet blogger "Mom" Gloria at Happy To Be.
She is very thoughtful to have mailed this to us.

The candlesticks and red candles are from Target.
The poinsettia table runner is from BB& Beyond.
Red jingle bell placemats are from Pier 1, the flatware
is Reed & Barton and the green goblets are from Target.
The centerpiece is an amber glass urn filled with
red balls from Ross and a few more poinsettias.

O' Christmas Tree

Hello Everyone!

It's time to show you our two Christmas trees.

I'm finally finished decorating and buying gifts.

I'm finishing our cards tonight and mailing them.

It's a good feeling to be done. How about you?

As you enter our home you will see our ivory & gold tree.

It's in the formal dining room. I just love it's elegance.

Come on in to the warm glow.
My hubs did a great job with the lights this year.
It looks lit from within at a distance.
The ornaments are mostly in ivory or gold glitter.
The tree skirt is from Lowes and matches our stockings.
This is our first tree from the year we were married.
The ornaments are Kinkade, Lenox and the leopard from Darlene.
Ivory velvet bows, gold roses, crystal drops, gold poinsettias
and various birds. I like a variety of ornament styles.
I had this topper bow made many years ago at a flower shop.
It's ivory velvet and I added gold sprays from Kirklands.
I recently placed gold glitter twigs from Michaels throughout.
They really add extra sparkle.
As you enter the formal living room
you will see our fun and festive red tree.
It's the exact opposite of our other one.
This one is taller and has a slim shape.
It has multi lights and is pre lit.
The red satin skirt is made by Martha Stewart.
It has feather tassel ornaments, redbirds and Santas.
I've been adding pops of lime green to it over the years.
Here is a topiary ribbon ball ornament that a blogger
friend mailed me recently. Thank you Shelley. I love it!

The bow topper is a red plaid pre made from Michaels.
We finally took our Christmas card photos last night.
