Hello Everyone!
Our master bathroom is large but is quite limited in storage
space for bath towels. I had to come up with some solutions.
Join me and I will show you a few.
us about a white sale at Neiman Marcus. I have never
had monogram towels before and decided to try them.
They are fabulous! Thank you Kathy for the information.
Pay her blog a visit to see more inspiring ideas.
It holds many decorative and extra bath towels.
A tiny tiger print pillow sits on a chair.
More towels hang on each side of the garden tub.
I found the tiger stripe design at Ross for $4 for 6.
I can't sew at all so I thought it was a great price.
We do have the under cabinets for storage but use them
to store toiletries. The oval medicine cabinet is at Lowes.
The floral rug is from BB& Beyond.
I put all of the space to good use.
Shell prints are from Kirklands.
Some are just rolled and displayed.

Your bathroom is lovely. I have an armoire in my bathroom to hold towels and necessities, plus it just looks pretty. Thanks for sharing your always wonderful ideas!
Oh Melissa, your posts are always so inspiring when it comes to decorating, and planning what I want to do around my house. Thanks to you I am on a quest to accessorize more :) (I just blogged about it, I hope you are honored that I use some of your ideas and not offended) Some people I've know in the past get annoyed if you 'copy' there decorating style. I'm assuming you would never mind anyone using your wonderful ideas otherwise you probably wouldn't share them with us. I love what you've done in your bathroom. I've never really thought about displaying towels other than on the usual towel holders provided by the builder. The rest of mine go in the linen closets! My bathroom is yet another room that I want to add more 'frills' to :-)
You have done a great job PROVIDING more use for towels. Love the colors and the animal prints. Beautiful bathroom, but I wouldn't expect less from you and your fab. taste. Have a wonderful Sunday!!! JGG
Hi Melissa, I stumbled upon your blog and I LOVE IT! You decorate just like I would like to! You have so many great ideas! In your bathroom you have a frame with an "M" on it. Where did you get that?
Beautiful towel storage/display ideas Melissa!
I love the new window topper!
Hi Melissa! It looks great! I'm actually waiting my brand new monogrammed towel from PB. I'm so excited and this is also the first I getting something like this. I can't wait to see them! Love you bathroom, so classy! Best, Vanessa
Love all the blues you've brought into the bathroom, Melissa! The blue towels are just gorgeous and I love the picture over the tub area.
I'd like to make an appt for spa night at Melissa's! :)
Melissa, your bathroom is just beautiful and I love your pretty towels and all of the ways you have them displayed. You've shown some great ideas. We like to use bath sheets to dry off after the shower or a nice soak in the tub. I don't have a lot of wall space, so I put a long towel bar up in the water closet and hang those wet towels in there to dry. Works perfectly since they are so big. Hugs, Marty
What a beautiful room!
Melissa-You have made good use of a long narrow space and it is lovely! Neimann Marcus does have the best towel sales! I love storing and displaying rolled towels in baskets on the floor or on the counter for extra hand towels--also great for beach towels if you have a pool!
What wonderful ideas you have and you certainly know how to execute those ideas!
When I was growing up, my mother was ahead of her time with decorating. She would display towels so beautifully but have another towel bar underneath holding the towels we were allowed to use! LOL
Hi Melissa.
Our master bathrooms are very similar; double vanity with vanity seating in the middle that neither one of us use! How funny is that? I have to stand to put on my make-up, and use a super magnifying mirror! LOL.
I saw a good idea for towels the other day and I have to find one to show you! I'm going to do it mine. I don't know how long before I find one big enough, but when I do - you'll be the first to know! Until then . . . it's a secret!
HAGD! Karen
WE must have towels on the brain today..smiles~ Love you bathroom too~
You have some beautiful towels that go along with everything else beautiful in your home. I just saw a towel rack that goes into the pins of the door jam...it goes in that little space behind the door. I thought that was brillant! Don't have it YET!
Very pretty Melissa - I loke that all of your towels and such blend but aren't too matchy-matchy - just the perfect combo of colors!
Love your new topper - I just signed up for the Touch of Class catalog for our new address - can't let that one get away from me!
Happy Sunday -
Your master bath looks like a beautiful spa retreat! By the way, I really like your 'blog of the week' feature, very fun!
Smiles,
Carol
Melissa, that is one gorgeous bathroom. It really looks like a spa.
Wow, girly! Your bathroom looks so pretty! I love the colors. The color combination is stunning, my friend! I love it! I need to finish my front bathroom. ugh
I hope you have a great Sunday. :)
Sandra
Oh and I made a post on some decorative towels I made last night! lol What a coincedence! Great minds think alike, maybe? ;)
Have a great day, my sweet friend.
Sandra
Wow! Your house is such a show place!!!
Hi Melissa! I love your ideas for displaying towels. I have a similar problem in my guest bath, so I can use some tips! Beautiful bathroom, by the way! Have a happy week!...hugs...Debbie
Melissa,
Your bathroom is just lovely! Great job on adding more space for towels...
Girl ... LOVE it !! It's ha-uge and you've, once again, decorated to perfection !! Love all the mirrors and your accent pieces. Love the colors ... and, how you've displayed the towels, too. I love wrapping tassels around some of mine or layering them (love how you have one cascading out of the sea shell). (Notice how many times I say "love" when I'm commenting on your go-jus home?!) I've just posted my guest bath ... and am redoing my master bath as we speak, too. Ugh. Thanks for such fun eye candy !! Hugs, Becca
Hi Melissa!
Your bathroom is just lovely. It really has a spa feel to it. What a tranquil space, yet cozy and elegant all at the same time. I love all your towels and decor...very pretty. I always love how you accessorize each and every space, you are so talented. Thanks for sharing! Liz
Hi Melissa, Wow! You got your towels and they look amazing. So glad that you like them. I see you have done some very creative towel displays. You are one clever lady. Your bathrooms look so inviting. you know they are my favorite rooms to design. Thank you for sending readers my way. I just did a post on affordable ways to add some Sense-sational products to your home. kathysue
Hi Melissa,
Your bathroom is beautiful! I love the colors. You have such a gift of making everything so lovely. I have been working on redoing our powder room and I love all your ideas! Thanks for sharing.
Blessings,
Karen
Oh Melissa sweetie...
You have worked wonders with your touches in this bathroom. I love the towel rack with the little stripes, so cute. They shell is a cute touch for a washcloth quick at hand. Love it. I also love that garden tub. I need one of those. So beautiful. I love the arch you have added above the window. Such a "Touch of Class". I love it sweetie. Your rugs too, are just perfect. It all fits together so beautifully. Thank you for sharing with me today. I so love it when you do.
Country hugs and much love, Sherry
Hi Melissa, Your bathroom is soooo pretty and big!! I love your new towels! The way you have your shelves decorated is just perfect! I have never showed my master bathroom...just the little monkey one.I'll have to post it sometime, our vanities are very similar. I have the same little makeup drawer...but I bet yours is alot neater than mine...lol. Great job on everything!! Kristen
I have some towels folded in our bathroom and no one ever uses them! Cracks me up because I don't mind if they use them but I guess they are afraid to mess up my neat stack. lol Your bathroom is huge, so pretty!
~Michelle
Beautiful! Our towels are rolled up and placed in our bathroom vanity cabinet. I also have a large basket next to the jacuzzi tub with a bunch of soft towels waiting. I'm a big fan (no pun intended) of bath sheets which are harder to display in a pretty fashion. Any ideas?
Hi Melissa,
Your bathroom seems so serene. I love the color palette. Everything is displayed so beautifully. I have in my bathrooms a two tier Fleur- di-lei etagere to hold my towels. My bathrooms are small, so this works well.
I have never been shopping at Ross. We have two stores and I have never visited either. I usually go to Hobby Lobby, Kirkland's and Marshall's.
Blessings,
Jan
Hi Melissa,
I don't have any ideas for towels as we have a huge master bedroom and a TINY linen closet. I have to turn the towels sideways because the closet is not deep. I think a man designed our house:) LOL I love the blue towels in your bathroom. It gives the room a pop of color. Good job.
oh melissa! if that was my bathroom, i'd NEVER leave it!! lol the towels are the prettiest blue!! love them!
you are an amazing decorator!
I just love a beautiful bathroom! Makes you want to stay in a hot tub forever. Your room is gorgeous.
love your ideas for towels. I need to come up with something to put towels in our spare bathroom, it is really small though.
Your bathroom is beautiful. You have everything done so nicely.
Hope your weekend was wonderful.
This looks wonderful, Melissa! Love it!
XO,
Sheila :-)
Thanks Melissa, I think he's pretty great! Much better in person of course. He recored an album several years ago with some of his own music...he is an awesome song writer. His band was really big in Memphis at one time...even played on the radio! He had a pretty big following until the band broke up and he decided he better start a career at the family business. He gave it a good shot though. Anyway, thanks for checking it out!! Kristen
Melissa your ideas are so cool and your towels and accessories are so beautiful. I am in love with your wall colour too. Wishing you a wonderful week my friend and thasnk you for your comments and encouragements on our healthly new us. big hugs, Kathy.
What fun it was to see your bathroom photos. You have put thought into each space and it shows beautifully! I also got those towels from NM. ;)
I saw an idea on Martha Stewart that actually looks amazing, though it doesn't sound amazing, lol. Hang two towel racks one ABOVE the other on the back of a door. It looks pretty good and very different! Here is the link:

You did a great job decorating that bathroom. I love those blue towels. They're so elegant.
My master bath is similar to yours. It's very long and narrow. I have the hardest time decorating it because there's not much room to put anything. I need to fly you up here to decorate it for me. ;)
Wow, Melissa...your bathroom is GORGEOUS! You have given me so many great ideas for our new house...when we find one! Hope you have a wonderful day!
You are one of the most genuinely nice people I've met since beginning this new adventure of writing a blog, Melissa. Thanks so much for introducing me to your blog friends! Your towel display looks like a work of art-I'd hate to grab a towel and mess it up! Once I move into that very spacious bathroom of yours, I guess I'll just have to drip-dry! Beautifully done.
Your bathroom is GORGEOUS! I love the wire rack you have-I'm heading out to Homegoods this week in search of something similar. We have a very similar bathroom with limited storage and I never even thought of adding a stand alone shelf!
Hi Melissa, your bathroom is lovely.....so calming and serene. Just gorgeous touches everywhere!

Melissa, I love those blue towels with the gold scrolled design on them...they're gorgeous!!! Also love your new fluffy white towels with your monongram on them! Well, thanks for the tour of the bathroom and all of your beautiful decorating and storage ideas. I am jealous...we have an old (and I do not mean old and charming house) and the master bath (and kitchen) are two of the not so charming parts that need a lot of work. I want a pretty bathroom like yours!
Thanks for sharing!
