Bunny Wears A Bow

Hello Everyone!
Happy 1st weekend of spring!
I hope your weather has been warm and sunny like ours.
While we didn't get anything done outside with yardwork
yet I did manage to create a vignette in the dining room.
Join me and I'll show you the cuteness.
Here's Mr Bunny! He's from Pier 1 stores.
He wears his festive yellow bow proudly.
I added white ball topiaries and moss rocks from Michaels.
The yellow chicks are by Valerie Parr Hill and
are available on QVC. My mother in law just
sent them to us. Aren't they sweet for Easter?
I added extra ribbon and some greenery on the sides.
Here's one chickie and his moss rocks.
Hello blog friends!
Another view of the vignette for spring.
I finally added some wall plates in here as well. I am
really enjoying the fun decorating possibilities of them.
The top gold colored plates are from Pier 1 and
the flowered set is from Kirklands. I'm hooked.
The scroll lamps are from Lamps Plus online.
The round mirror is from Kirklands
and the buffet table was an Ebay find.
Here are the decorative wall plates up close.
I ordered the invisible plate hangers from
Amazon.com and they do work very well.
I added this gold topper from Touch of Class online.
I am still addicted to toppers. Love them all.
Have a wonderful week!

Very cute Melissa, and I love your scroll lamps. The chicks are adorable too. It's been very windy here this weekend which meant we couldn't get out in the yard either, including today, which is a bummer because it's nice and sunny, albeit very chilly too. Hope you're having a lovely Sunday.

Gorgeous as always, Melissa!! Is that a wreath hanging in front of your mirror? If so, would you share how you did that??? It looks beautiful!

Would you believe it's snowing in Texas today!?!? We woke up to a blanket of white!!! CRAZY! All my spring plants are going to freeze! It's supposed to be 66 and sunny tomorrow - you just never know from day to day! :-)

Thanks for sharing your pretty things. I always enjoy spending time on your blog!

Your Easter display is great! My bunnies are still hiding in the attic. I think they're waiting for the snow to melt. We had a snowstorm yesterday & it didn't stop until earlier today. What a way to celebrate the beginning of spring!

Love your bunny with his bow and I love those topiaries! Did you make those? I have a small urn on one of the living room side tables that I think needs a little topiary. We had glorious weather here this weekend, too, but I did not do anything outside either.

Melissa, everything looks so pretty and very spring like! We had snow yesterday afternoon & last night. It is bitterly cold today ~ north winds are miserable. If this is global warming, hmmmmmm, I think someone missed the mark!

I'm glad you were able to decorate ~ I'm still packing. :-( Will be so happy to have this move over and get settled.

Oh, by the way, I love the lamps!

Brightest blessings,
Pat

Hi Melissa, I think we all need a bloggy break every now and then. I've noticed that I go in spurts. I get really excited about my blog and then I loose interest! I have been thinking alot about the smaller posts. I think it will be better and I think I will actually be showing more stuff that way. I find when I sit down to do a post I get frusterated because it seems so unorganized and I can't show everything I want to show. Then again, I still feel new at this blogging thing! LOL...Anyway, you might want to think about it too, I think it will be easier for both of us.

Speaking of loosing followers...I lost three after posting the last tablescape with no silverware! lol...then I posted with silverware and put the silverware on the wrong side! That post didn't go so well...I thought about redoing the whole thing, but decided to just leave it. I think that was part of my frustration! There is no reason for you to loose followers, I think alot of the time their computers crash and they loose everything. I've gotten e-mails about that before.

Yes, I can make you an arrangement for your foyer. Would you mind sending me a pic of it now? Or I can go through your blog and find one. I can make one similar to the one I sold, but might change up a few things to fit your space.

Yay! the snow is almost melted!! Tomorrow it is supposed to be 70!! Talk to you soon, Kristen

Hi sweet friend...

Ohhh...your little bunny and chicks are just adorable, Melissa! I think I'm in love! Hehe! That was so sweet of your mother-in-law to gift you with those sweet chicks! Girlfriend, I just love, love, LOVE those white puffy topiary balls! I would love to get my hands on some like that! They're so Springy and just perfect for your Spring vignette! I'm wondering if they could be made? If you could take the petals off of a silk hydrangea and glue them to a styrofoam ball...hmmm, my wheels are turning now! Hehe! Love all of that pretty Spring ribbon that you added as well! It's gorgeous, Darlin'! I see that you've caught the "plate decorating" bug! Hehe! Don't you just love it? Your new plates are sooo pretty...they look really nice beside that gorgeous mirror! Ohh...and I see that you have a new topper! Love, love, LOVE IT!!! Well Darlin', you just did an outstanding job with this new Spring vignette...it's gorgeous!!! Thank you for sharing it and your beautiful home with us!!!

Love ya,
