Spring Break At Home

Hello My Friends!
It's time for a much needed blog break for me.
I am burned out and have no idea what to post on.
Does this happen to you guys too?
I would like it if you would offer me some much needed
suggestions of what you want to see or read about here.
I do have a few cool ideas that have been offered such as
*healthy recipes* and *how to create a vignette*.
Wonderful ideas Risa and Beth. I'll post those soon.
How about a Q & A? I have seen this on other blogs
and have never really posted much on my private life.
Do you have any questions you want to ask me?
We have had some beautiful spring weather and it's
time for me to start some yard clean up. I need ferns,
flowers and to paint our porch railings so I'll be busy.
In the meantime feel free to browse past posts and leave
me any comments or send me an email. I'll see you soon.
I'll leave you with some gorgeous garden inspiration.
Enjoy! I wish this was our backyard. I can dream.
Look at the darling bridge.
I adore the forest in the background.
A pretty stone path leads the way. It's so tranquil.
I'm going to try and plant some of these. I love red roses.
Thank you all for being good friends and loyal readers.
You are always welcome to visit me anytime.
I enjoy having you and reading your comments.
Have a wonderful week!

It's good to take a break now and then, Melissa. You'll be back feeling renewed.

We are finally having some great weather, so we'll be spending more time on outdoor things.

I love the idea of a Q&A.

What beautiful pictures, Melissa! Yes, sometimes I feel like I need a break! You could post on what you will be doing, too. Maybe a before and after of your garden and porch.

Yes, enjoy your break!! Take some pics of things that inspire you and post them...
collections, stories, area you live in, book reviews.......you'll come up with some good things, I know.

Totally understand. I'm out of ideas too. :)

Enjoy your outside time. I just can't wait for it to be warm enough here. Our last freeze date isn't for a couple of weeks.

Hi Melissa...funny today I was thinking come Summer I will not be blogging too much. I already am running out of stuff and it is only three months into it. I just posted an outdoor table scene if you would like to see it. The garden photo's are fabulous. I enjoy coming over...so don't run out too soon.

Lisa said...

Yes I get that! I just don't get inspired. I find that others can inspire me so I visit around or I think about other things I am spending time doing or thinking about! Take a break it will be fine we will be here!

When I first saw the yard...I nearly fell off my chair...I mean good grief! I really do not think I have ever seen one that is more beautiful. Yes...and I will dream with you, Melissa!

Yes...I am one of those that is burned out. It takes up so much of my day that not much gets done in my home unless it's to blog about...but I keep thinking that I will off to Maine in August and off to Maryland in May, so I have been putting it off.

Blogging is a HUGE hook!
You are not alone in running out of things to post...not at all. I for one am like that every single day...rarely to I have anything prepared! It probably shows too! LOL Especially in tablescapes etc.
Hugs,
Mona

Hope you don't take too long a break, I always love your posts. Perhaps as the weather warms up we can see more of your garden. I can't help but post about just every day stuff I do.. but that's because I have family that likes to keep up with what I'm doing, but even just what you did over the weekend would be fun to read for me ;-)

We enjoy your new things, show us your porch when it is done, recipes, anything cool in your community, outside back yard, or better yet... maybe all your NEW CLOTHES! I know I am having fun since I lost 3-4 sizes. Any new shoes to go with the new outfits? Gone out to lunch, where? What's your favorite snack? Goodness... maybe I should start a blog. Hi Melissa, You know the "burn out" happens to me. I think I mentioned I get real excited and then loose interest. We all need a break! I think the smaller posts are going to be better for me, even though they might not be very interesting...lol!I would love some of your healthy recipes. My family really needs to start eating healthier, all of us!

I have not been back to Hobby Lobby yet for a container. I will try to get back over there tonight. We are leaving for Branson tomorrow morning. There is a possibility I will get your arrangement made tonight and shipped in the morning. If not...I will ship it out Monday. I'm sorry it's taking me so long. I wanted to make sure I get the right size container. I picked out some pretty flowers, berries, sticks and grass, so I think you will really like it! :) Kristen

Hi Melissa, You certainly deserve a break. I think the schools up here are out this coming week, also. We will be flooding the South for the warmer weather.
BTW, I lost your picture on
My Followers". Haven't a clue how that happened. I have changed ISP's and I now have been changing my email and addresses, so anything is possible.
Just know I never would take you off my blog.
I think the answer to these situations is not changing anything !!!

Dear friend, have a good break and re-charge yourself. Taking a break did wonders for me! Although, it makes me question why I needed a break from blogging in the first place.

I'd love healthy recipes! I'm always looking for TNT low cal/carb recipes. I'd love to see your gardens as well.

I don't have any suggestions for you specifically, except that I enjoy how you share your heart - about a lot of different things!
From decorating ideas to your life's comings and goings. Just continue to be yourself.

I'd love to see more of how you incorporate spring/summer colors and/or accessories when most of your home decor colors lean more towards the darker shades. I struggle so much with this!

Ok, I do have a question. :)

You have gorgeous items throughout your home. But, you have a LOT of them (which I love & looks so awesome). Your beautiful home is sparkling clean. How do you keep all your pretties/home so clean?

What do you use to dust & how often? We have a dust problem in our home (drives me batty) & I don't know how I'd ever keep so many pretty items clean. I'm always looking for cleaning tips from others! :)

Have a wonderful break! :)
