Your home contains many special touches. I think that's one reason so many people love your blog--it's obvious that you strive to add special touches in many ways. I can just imagine how lovely your home smells, and I love the idea that it's softly lit with candles and lamps. And I really like the "HOME" sign. . . I'm betting that visitors to your house feel that it's a real home! I wish I could snuggle down among your pillows and cozy up for a lovely visit with you. Since I can't come to your house in real life, though, I'll be definitely be visiting you online!

Honestly I do not currently have any special touches. What is more shocking I recently had a friend over who had never visited my home and she asked me...WHY don't you have anything on the walls? Yeah three years and I still have not hung a thing on the walls. YOU inspire me though...I might just have to hang something up.

Everything is so pretty! I have the same leather sofa, well mine is the love seat and chair/ottoman. Had it for about 6 years and we love it. My hubby won't let me get rid of it. It's so comfy.

(I actually love all your posts lol) Your so talented to think of ways of using candles, plaques, pillows and colors in such a way that everything complements each other. I'm learning how to decorate and coordinate colors a lot more now that I found your blog. You make your house look like a picture from a magazine but very homey and inviting. Your home is so delish! I just want to crawl into it with a good book! :) Do you burn your candles? I didn't use to. Then I saw somewhere (HGTV, or The Nester, maybe?) that we should burn our candles, not just keep them for decoration. Oh boy, were they ever right! They actually look so much pettier with the wax melted! I'm a candle burning fool now. :)
