Foyer Table Lamps

Hello Everyone!
I've been doing some shopping and decided to
change the single lamp in the entryway to a pair.
I found this set of two for $59 at Kirklands.
Not bad. They also offer coupons to use.
Join me and I will show you the new look.
As you enter the front door this is on the left.
I adore a balanced look on a table.
I can't believe I waited four years to change it.
It also shows the new flowers Kristen made
in a prettier way. The table is from JCPenney.
Click here to see the old lamp and arrangement.
I added the scented sage green tassels from Ross.
It's lemon verbena scent and they smell really good.
I had never seen scented tassels before. Neat!
I added the decorative hanging plates as well.
They match all of the colors in the foyer.
They are from Kirklands and were $6 a piece.
The other side of the foyer has a mini chest.
It's important to have a welcoming first impression.
Try adding rugs, tables, candles, lamps and photos.
I think I have it covered now for sure.
Here is one more view from the stairs.
Have a wonderful week!

Melissa, that looks great! I love the look of paired lamps. That's what I've done in my dining room too.

Hi Melissa, well I loved the look before but I agree the more balanced look with two lamps looks even better :) I'm rather like that with everything too, it has to be symmetrical for me with most of the things I decorate with. That might be the Libra in me, I just like balanace ;)
Hope you're enjoying your Sunday.

Hi Melissa!

Although your old arrangement was pretty, this one is so much better! Just gorgeous! I do like things to be symmetrical (my husband is the exact opposite - he likes things to be asymmetrical!) I love the lamps!

I've never seen or heard of a scented tassel but it sounds very nice. I also like how you filled the space next to the clock with those two plates. I do miss Kirklands - they always have such lovely things at wonderful prices!

Love the new look!

Melissa, your foyer looks wonderful with the new lamps! I like that look and have something like that in my Dining Room on the buffet. I cannot share the photos right now however due to the recent tornado of quilt fabrics and such that hit my dining room table. Eeeeek!! But hopefully as I work my way through my colorful fabrics, textiles etc., and get the area back to normal, I might be able to share my two lamps and their happy space! Thank you for sharing your Foyer Table Lamps. Hugs!

Melissa,

I am new at blogging, but it is amazing how this works. I love to look at the blogs you have listed.

I see you are interested in decorating. Look at Karnas Hus blogspot. She lives in Norway, and as I go about to furnish my empty home I get a lot of inspiration from her. Another girl who is a really good decorator lives in Australia, her blog is called The house that A-M built. Look at those and tell me what you think. If you have time. Google them.

Have a great day!!

Greetings from Sweden
