Shopping For Scrolls

Hello Everyone!
I found a few things yesterday and thought I would
play show and tell. I love to shop! How about you?
The theme of the day seemed to be scrolls.
Isn't it funny how that happens and you don't notice.
A scroll M candle from BB& Beyond for $7.
A new scroll runner for the coffee table from Ross.
It was 9.99. It's nice to use a light color for summer.
Scroll outdoor pillows from Lowes for our bistro set.
They were $9.99 a piece.
Notice our brown grass. This has been the driest season so far.
It did just rain briefly though. We really needed it.
Some fresh flowers for the oudoor deck table.
Let's see how long I can keep them alive.
A gold scroll frame from Ross for $6.
I love chunky frames and am always looking for them.
Another scroll frame from Ross for $4.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Love that decorative box, Melissa, plus the other items you've shared here. Also, your lamps have scroll bases! It's funny how you notice these little themes once you get started!

It's all beautiful ~ great taste. Isn't it funny how you don't notice something right away and then it just pops out at you.

We don't have a Ross near us ~ in fact I've never heard of it before. Darn!

Hope you have a lovely weekend... hubby is home already so I'm having a glass of wine with him then headed next door to my friend's for wine and cheese :)

Shopping is so much fun! I like all the new scroll items you picked out. The outdoor flowers are pretty. I have a few indoor plants that need to be tossed, but I keep telling my husband "No, not yet, I can save them!" A little sun and some water, why is it so hard to keep a plant going, LOL. Have a beautiful weekend.

Yes I do love to shop Melissa....bad habit sometimes:) Your theme of scrolls is perfect with your home decor. I love your new finds. Have a great weekend.

If you did a walk through my house, I'm sure you'd find tons of scrolls too, well that and monograms! I'm drawn to both!

Really pretty! I'm having a difficult time decorating now ~ things I had & love just don't fit. Also, it's so hot & humid I find that I don't want a lot of stuff around. Weird, huh? :-)

Oh yes, the poppy plates are darling. I adore poppies!

Hope you have a great weekend and can stay cool.

I do love Ross, Marshalls, Kirklands and TJ MAXX

I love the candle. Everything looks so pretty but then again, you always do a great job.

You should put a sprinkler system in to help the grass. We have had one in every house that we have lived in except our new one. Not going to add one right now until we know for sure that we are staying here:)

Have a great weekend.

Melissa, it is all SO pretty. I thought by your title you meant the scrolls that go over the doors, windows, etc. YOU are the one that started me on those. I blame you everytime I buy a new one.

My dear Ron knows you by name!!!! Ha. (I have to blame someone)

Hi Melissa...great finds. I too love shopping, which is really funny because until a couple of years ago, would rather have someone drive spikes under my nails. Same way with thrifting and you could not drag me to a Flea Market...my husband thinks Aliens have taken over my body since I now love so many things I used to despise. Maybe they have!!

Hi Melissa,

Yes, I was gone for a while. We're in the process of adopting and have been busy paperchasing! We're at the tailend of that section and now we wait. So, my blog is no longer in "hidden" status mode. I forgot to change it before I left a comment on your blog a few weeks ago. Sorry about that.

I love all of your scrolly items. I tend to be drawn to them, too. There's just something elegant yet whimsical about a well done scroll. =)

Hope you're enjoying your summer!
Blessings,
Teri

Ok, I'm going to have to go to Ross! Have I said that before? LOL I have a Ross literally 5 minutes from my house! Looks like their stuff is nice & homey. :)

Btw, I turned off the word verification on my blog, & turned on 'registered users' (no more anonymous!) & I haven't gotten spammed one time! Woot! Thank you for suggesting that to me! :)

Have a super summer break. :)
