Memories & M's

Hello Everyone!
This is my third post in less than a week.
I believe that is a record for me along with posting
nine times during June. I thought I was having a
hard time thinking up new posts but I guess not.
Join me here to tour my vintage style tablescape.
I adore all monograms and was passed down my
husbands grandparents monogram flatware set.
It is full of vintage charm at 70 years old.
This gave me the idea for this tablescape of memories.
A glass wine stopper and cheese board.
They are both from Kirklands.
You can swap out the ribbon to match your theme.
Here is the full view of the table.
The dishes, napkins and damask placemats are from Ross.
I have had the wine glassses and S/P shakers for 15 years.
They were given to me by my parents.
Here are the ivory monogram napkins.
They usually sell out of M. I was happy to find them.
Another view of the dinette.
If you click on the photo your can see the details.
I must admit I have not polished them up yet.
As soon as I do I will show you how they turned out.
Have a wonderful week!

Melissa, how wonderful to have that flatware handed down to you and it is so pretty. I love anything monogrammed, too. Love the white dishes from Ross with the cutout design. A very pretty table.

Well you know every time I see a monogrammed 'M' I now think of you :) I see quite a few things in Kirklands with M on and often they are out of 'S' (which of course is what I would need).
Love your table setting and the monogrammed cutlery is beautiful. I love that you're posting more... a week is too long without you in blogland :)
Big hugs
Denise

Melissa, Just breathtaking and so elegant your table setting you put together. I love monograms, red colorways and toile. The old world is new again with your sense of taste and flair. The heirloom silverware is so elegant and adds the finishing touch and richness to the tabletop.I am blessed to have table heirlooms as well and use them everyday and try to incorporate them with new items and different times of the year. It is a hazy, humid and hot heat wave here in the north east and not good for asthmatics like myself. Keep cool and thanks for such a beautiful classy table to share with us all. Take care~Emelia~

Very cute Melissa love all the monogrammed pieces, I do love a good monogram. Thanks for commenting on my recent post. Yes I saw your post on your new hair cut and weight loss. Honey, you look amazing and you should be so proud of yourself. I understand totally about not seeing yourself as you are now. I lost 42lbs at one time and I could not see myself as a size 6 and questioned everything that I put on. I have the same problem now with the weight gain and the aging, who the heck is this person?!!! I need to lose just to be healthier and it is encouraging to see your wonderful progress, keep it up and remember when you gain 5lbs STOP yourself it is not worth gaining more!! Trust me on this!! Have a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for leaving a sweet comment. I am afraid I will not be posting picts of myself it took me forever to put up a pict on my profile, hehe,Kathysue
