When I think of red and yellow it always makes me smile.

I spotted this floral at Kirklands and thought of summer days.Today was glorious and bright and it made me happy.

Planting trees is a great thing to do for your birthday. I have a dogwood we planted for my 29th birthday in my backyard. In the front yard is a Japanese Red Maple planted for my thirtieth! I am now 51 so they have grown quite a bit! My kids gave me a pear tree for Mother's day one year too. Green is great!

Red and yellow are fun summer colours especially the way you put them together in your 'scape! Everything coordinates so well and looks fabulous in your gorgeous eating area. The red glasses are perfect and how wonderful to use Christmas things in July!

Thank you for your visit to my blog and I have to tell you, after reading your post about the stand from Marshalls...I went in search of one too. They didn't have one at the Marshalls here in my town but that's alright because I found TONS of cute dishes. I bought plates, a serving platter and a beautiful covered dish - haha!
