Hello Friends!
I found some cute new bath pictures at Kirklands
so I thought I would share our tiny powder room.
This is the one the guests use. It's quite bold in color.
Join me on a tour. All the photos enlarge when clicked.
What is it about chunky frames? I just love em'!
I thought the colors and theme went well in here.
The scroll ring and towels are from BB & Beyond.
The gold wall color is called Chicory from Lowes.
The bronze scroll light fixture is made by Minka.
Here sits another chunky frame.
I'm laying on the floor to get this shot. LOL!
Don't be afraid to try something dramatic in a small room.
You can always change it easily if you don't like it.
I hope you enjoyed the itty bitty bathroom tour.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Im always so jealous of your decor! I wish my bathroom was as warm and inviting as yours! haha but really I do...thats just a funny way to describe a bathroom!
Thanks Melissa! I really like the table too...my other one was wood with curved legs, pretty simple. It was funny because I was thinking about my brother first, it didn't even dawn on me it might look good in my house. I was glad it was too big for his! lol...
I'm glad you are enjoying your rooster tassel. It looks so pretty on your red table!
Your home is always so gorgeous!!! But you know what? I don't think I'd have so many frames, etc because I simply HATE to dust!! You either love housework or have a housekeeper...come on, fess up!
Have a wonderful day!
Your home is so warm and inviting! You have a great "eye" for accessorizing. Something I personally struggle with.
Beautiful powder room! Very elegant. Those new prints from Kirklands are cute!
Manuela
Beautiful accessorizing! I love dramatic colors and decorating! I am still laughing at you laying on the floor. I should have tried that in my powder room!
Your powder room is beautiful. I just love the wall color and that lamp! Great choices!
I love your powder room. So warm and cozy!
Miss Melissa,
I think you should've had your hubbie take a picture of you on the floor taking pictures! That I would've liked to see! :)
Very cute room! You made an "in and out" room very comfy and pretty. Good job!
I also think you should contact Kirkland, have them read your blog and then ask for a few shares of their stock! You go Girl! :)
Have a great weekend!
Hugs! Karen

Just wanted to stop lurking a moment to say Thank You for sharing your beautiful home. Now that my husband has retired from the Navy and we are in our brand new (and hopefully final!) home, I find myself overwhelmed by all the projects and options I have in front of me. There are a few pieces you've shown that you got from Kirkland's that I, too, have gone and purchased. Not necessarily to use as you have, but because I was able to see the potential through your pictures! I do have one question, if you don't mind.
I don't know how long ago it was, but you posted a picture of your foyer. You mentioned the paint color and I can't find the post. We have a two story foyer now and I want COLOR instead of the flat tan/beige that builders put in new homes. If you can remember it, please let me know! I remember thinking it was just gorgeous and I want my foyer to just welcome guests (and maybe wow just a tad? lol).
Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home! Please keep up the good work!
Hello Mrs. Melissa~ your Bitty Powder room is beautiful, I don't expect any less from you. I adore the pics. and your curtain valance. I hope all is well with you and life is great. I wish you a super weekend too. Hugs, Loves, Jen
Your black sink is stunning. Also, the lamp on the vanity is both elegant and useful. It's such a pretty p.r.
BTW - we have a unique kitchen backsplash giveaway that might be useful to you or a friend. Please stop by our Giveaway Friday! Jane F.
How funny! Love the title!
Hi Melissa,
I have to admit that for some reason my guest bathrooms, in all the homes I've lived in, are usually my favorite room! lol I guess that is because they are smaller and seem easy to decorate so there is lots of visual appeal. I have a lamp in my guest bath too, next to the sink. I love the color, the black counter tops and all your details. LOVE those pictures in the first shot too. This is my kind of powder room. Beautiful!
Hi again,
Well, I'm glad you asked me to follow because I would have sworn that I was. I sure thought so but I guess I wasn't. Well, I am now. I'm also adding you to my blogroll on my sidebar and hope you'll consider doing the same.
I love your beautiful blog!
Nancy
Looks lovely, love the new pictures and that wall color is perfect with the black vanity top.
This is my first visit to your blog and I must say I love what you've done with your powder room! I so agree with your statement about bold color in a small space. It can add so much drama! I once did a powder room in a huge cabbage rose wall paper. It was such fun! Another memorable small room was one I saw on a home tour in Charleston, SC, many years ago. In a TV room, not much bigger than a powder room, the designer painted the walls navy and added a fuschia damask sofa and a couple of large scale pieces of furniture in a dark wood. The colors were very similar to the ones on the cover of this month's Real Simple magazine. Though it sounds a bit strange, it was stunning! BTW...I love those chunky picture frames! Regards, Sheilla
It all looks fantastic! I love powder rooms :)
Kristi
Oh you are just too cute, and so are those new pictures! and YES! they are just purrrfect in your very chic itty bitty powder room!
But I gotta tell you, I thought I was going to need to use your twallette cause I almost peed my pants when you said you had to get on the floor to take the photos!!
Now there's a picture! hee hee hee!!
Love your sense of humor girl!
Have a great weekend!
Hugs, Sherri:)
Loved the bathroom tour Melissa, thank you for showing us around.

Very pretty half bath. I love your painted ceiling! I also love your lamp in the bathroom. I so wish I had room for one too but not to be with a pedestal sink. Lot's of wonderful eye candy for your guests to enjoy in here!
Oh be still my heart....I love the new pictures and would have totally bought them myself!!
Many Blessings,
M.
PS - I just realized what it is about your home that I like the best...it's all of the photographs of you and your husband. Awesome, awesome awesome!

It's perfect. The chunkiness looks so rich. You did a great job, the paint color is perfect.
Hi Melissa, I laughed when you said you were on the floor. Sometimes it's the only way to get the pic and still you can't get it all in.
I love the black and gold. Very rich and classy...like you, in fact.
You always do a great job. The new pics make a great addition.
Hi Melissa, I have a little powder room like that, it's so hard to get pictures of it, but you did a great job. I love the warm colors and decor you have in there.
