The Little Red Box

Hello Everyone!
How has your weekend been?
Ours was really busy and fun. We traveled to a
nearby city and went shopping at a new outdoor mall.
It was so quaint. We really enjoyed shopping and dining.
I finally found a dress for our upcoming ball. Whew!
While shopping last week for fall clothes at
Cato I found some home decor. Who knew?
Here is a little red box for the entry table.
The table is from JCPenney and the lamps Kirklands.
I thought it was sweet and it's my favorite color.
I also found this wine plate and stand at Cato.
I added it to the dining room buffet table.
Look at the feather napkin ring on my reed diffuser.
Isn't this a neat idea? Pier 1 has them.
I added another napkin ring to a diffuser in the bath.
I think they look like tiny pearls.
Thanks for coming by! I always appreciate your visits.
I meant to thank you all for your advice on my room
switch ideas. At this time we decided to leave it alone.
My husband is super busy at work and it would be
too much to do right now. Maybe in our next home.
Have a wonderful week!

Girl, I can't believe you've never discovered the pretties at Cato...I bet you'll go back more often now to check out their loot. I've bought quite a bit at Cato and my best friend Judy who I visited recently has lots of Cato goodies and her house will be on a Christmas tour in her city.

BTW, love the box!

Dearest Melissa,

You stay busy with fining new treasures for your 'nest' which is great, especially before getting into winter. Making our homes cozy on the inside is very important.
Loved to visit you and you're welcome anytime to come over to my side...

Sunny greetings from Georgia,

Love the little red box!!! I bought a similar one at Cato's a few weeks ago in gold. They have a pretty small section of home items, but what they do have is very nice. I bought two adorable little birds and a table clock there as well.

My weekend was wonderful. I went to see two Elvis impersonators (they were great) and got serenaded!!

Hi Melissa,
I love the new red bos. Very pretty on that table.
The idea with the napkin rings is so clever.

I love your napkin ring ideas especially around the diffuser! I never thought about that. Do you think a patterned ribbon would look good as well? Now you got me thinking:) What else would work? We have diffusers in our bathrooms.

Your yellow and black bathroom is so elegant. I adore it.

That's what I say a lot, maybe in our next home!LOL I am holding back so much in this house. That's why it looks sort of plain.

As always, everything was perfectly arranged and true "eye candy". Red is my favorite color as well which is one of the many reasons I love looking at your photos.

I was wondering if sometime you could feature your beautiful tray arrangements. They are always so tastefully done, and I'm looking for a tray idea for my new ottoman.

Thank you and God bless you!

Hi Girlfriend...

Ohhh...I love your little red box! It would look great at my place! hehe! I have never been in a Cato store, Melissa! My youngest daughter shops at Cato's all the time. Guess I'll have to go and check one out! I didn't realize that they had home goods though. Your little red box looks so pretty added into your vignette! Love it! And...I love your new wine plate as well! Girl, you do the prettiest vignettes and have so many pretties!!! Now, I think that adding the pretty napkin rings to the diffurser bottles is an awesome idea! Love both napkin rings...although the pretty pearl looking one is my favorite! Thank you for sharing more of your beautiful home and new pretties with us, Darlin'!

Sounds like you and Alex had a great time! What a great way to spend a beautiful autumn day!
