Pray For Peace

Hello Everyone!
I am reminded everday how precious peace is to have
in our lives. As a military wife I hope for the best for
all of our servicemen and women. I know we all do.
They are all brave to have this job.
I worry but it is nothing compared to what they go through.
Let us all take a moment and pray for world peace.
Join me to view the peaceful vignette I created today.
The formal dining room buffet table is always
a good place to change things with each season.
All photos enlarge when clicked.
The tapestry coat wearing deer is from Pier 1.
The runner looks like new fallen snow.
The mirror is from Kirklands and the hanger from Michaels.
I added a berry beaded wreath and pinecone redbird.
*Peace* to all of you.
The striped stockings are from Lowes.
A few beaded topiaries from Michaels.
I added the red ribbon.
Another view of the entire Christmas vignette.
The scroll buffet lamps are from Lamps Plus online.
Even Chestnut seemed to be in deep thought today.
Actually he may have seen another kitty....:)
~*~
Thank you to those of you who entered my redbird tassel
giveaway last week. The winner is...Poofing The Pillows #23.
Congrats to Stacey!
I really enjoy hosting giveaways so look for another one soon.
~*~
Thank you for visiting.
Have a wonderful week!

Congrats to Stacy! Woohoo! I am so thankful for ALL our military friends. We do not have anyone in our family who is in the military but growing up in Columbia (where Fort Jackson is) there is never a time when I cannot remember being so thankful for those who lay down thier lives for our country and freedom! We have come across many families who serve and it is such an awesome priviledge to get to know them. I pray for peace often! Very pretty table vignette!

How pretty!
We are always praying for peace here year round. As much as I appreciate what our military is willing to sacrifice for us, I'd much rather if they didn't have to.
Hope you had a great weekend!

Melissa, what a wonderful reminder! Praying for peace is something that I pray for regularly, along with having more people let God into their hearts. I truly believe that would take care of the majority of the problems in our world. Your table looks fantastic!!

On a funny note, the bird is real. The speakers are on our patio & the stupid birds love to hang out there!! Kara knows how much it's bugging me & jokingly said she put a fake bird there. She lives in another state.

Hi Melissa, so glad I got to visit this week! I, too have PEACE as my stocking holders, so I feel honored to join you in your request...

Yes..we must pray for our service men and women. We sometimes may never think the unthinkable can happen in our families, but recently a dear niece lost her finance in Afghanistan. He was in the Army just about to turn 20 and only had 2 more months to go to complete his service. He was an exceptional young man. So yes...prayers and thankfulness for their sacrifice is utmost! Lovely table you presented! Peace means so much more these days doesn't it? Hugs to you and yours!

Hi Melissa -- it's been too long since I've visited! You are so right -- peace is the most precious gift any of us could have this year, and continued prayers are so important.

The deer -- the poinsettias -- the stockings -- "Peace" in the front of it all --- wonderful.

But I have to admit I am completely SMITTEN by that mirror. Wow. I think I need that. Can I send you my address?

And Dion says HI to Chestnut, who is certainly very intent on something outside. Dion likes to lie on the floor by the long sunroom doors and survey the big world outside, too.

Happy Holidays!
Cass
