I ordered some items with my Pottery Barn

gift card that I won from The Stylish House

and these vintage looking keys were part of it.

Can you help me decide what to do with them?

I have always admired keys and now I'm stuck.

Take a look where I hung them for now.

This candle trio is displayed in our entry hall.

I draped them here with some plaid ribbon.

Should I create a shadow box frame? Any more ideas?
I know my blogger friends are very creative.

Kitchen Updates

Hello Everyone!

I've been sprucing up our kitchen with a few changes

lately since we cook almost every meal at home.

I'm doing well with my healthy eating and am down 41 pds!

Join me and I'll show you our new kitchen updates.

I heart Paula Deen. I had been seeing her red cookware set

everywhere and just had to try it. It is a great set. The non stick frying pans work really well for eggs.
It also came with two utensils.
Here's the entire set. We purchased ours on Amazon.com.
I added the link here. It is carried at many stores too.
They are not dishwasher safe but for us that is just fine.
It's just the two of us. I really love the warm red color
and the glass lids are so nice to be able to see inside.
I think they were a super value.
We needed a knife set and I found this one on Amazon.com.
Paula Deen to the rescue again. These work well for us.

Our faucet broke a few weeks ago and I started searching for one.

I guess I'm picky because it took me forever to decide on it.

It's made by Delta and is called the Arabella.
Here is the link from Home Depot. It's only carried there.

My hubs installed it and I enjoyed washing the dishes.
My only regret is that the old one didn't break sooner.

I also put together a little rooster cloche.

I'm ready to start dinner tonight using our new items.

I found this tiny cross pillow at Cracker Barrel.
It was on sale for $3. It's nice to find a good deal.
I placed it in the family room swivel chair.

Look at the cupcake signs she made. They are precious.
Look at this that she tucked in the box as well.
I am so honored by her sweet spirit and generosity.
Isn't it beautiful? It's a notepad with my blog on it.

Hearts & Polka Dots

Hello Everyone!

It's almost Valentines Day so I thought I would share

with you my new tablescape and some inspiration photos.

I found some new Valentines Day dishes at Ross.
I went with a classic red and white color scheme.
The red glitter heart topiary is from Michaels.
I added the extra ribbons.
I added polka dot ribbon to the champagne flutes.
I stuck little red felt hearts on them as well.
All are from Michaels craft stores.

The ivory circle placemats are from Ross.
You can see the tiny heart cut outs on the ivory dishes.
The red heart bowls are at Michaels on sale for 99 cents.
They also have pink and white. How cute.
I added the heart angel wings to each bowl.

I'm using them as candleholders today.
