Hello Everyone!
It has been raining for days and it was time
to set a new tablescape welcoming the fall.
Join me on a tour of our formal dining room.
The warm colors welcome you to stay and eat.
I added green tones for a nice change to this room.
All photos enlarge when clicked to see the details.
The buffet table is strewn with leaves and gourds.
The fall wreath is made of gold leaves and plum pears.
Another view of the room leading into the kitchen.
The furniture is from Etheridge and the floors are cherry.
The paint is a red and gold combo with a chair rail.
The flower centerpiece and candles are from Kirklands.
I bought the leaf acorn dishes at Cracker Barrel.
They are called *Bountiful Harvest*.
The leaf bamboo placemats are from Ross.
This room has a tray ceiling, french doors and a window.

products on my blog. I blog purely for the fun of sharing.
Thanks for coming by and checking out my fall dining room.

Welcoming Fall's Beauty

Hello Everyone!
It's officially fall. Isn't it wonderful?
It has been beautiful weather here in North Carolina.
I hope you are enjoying the lovely new season as well.
My computer has been having issues the last few months
and I finally decided to order a new one. It should arrive
this week. If you don't hear from me then you know why.
Here's what I ordered. I'm excited to get it!
I plan to post later this week with a tablescape displaying
my new fall dishes from Cracker Barrel. Stay tuned!
In the meantime enjoy the beauty of fall with a few photos.

The fall pumpkins are colorful.
I would love to stand on this bridge and make a wish.
A scenic drive leads to home.
This is peaceful perfection.
Ah, so pretty...:)
Happy Fall Ya'll!

Live Laugh Leather

Hello Everyone!
How about a little living room tour?
Our formal living room is the first room you see as
you walk in so I went for a warm, welcoming feel.
Even if it's name is formal it's meant for comfort.
Come on in and have some warm, spiced cider.
The leather sofa is from Ashley Furniture.
The tray ceiling is my favorite!
The paint is called Chicory. All photos enlarge when clicked.
This leather chair and ottoman are from Sam's Club.

The french doors are a nice feature.
We never use them but they look pretty...:)

The Goodness Of Fall

Hello Everyone!
Happy *almost* Fall!
I hope you are all enjoying the new season.
Join me to see a table of fall goodness.
I brought out my sage pumpkin and leaf plate with a bird.
I added plaid ribbon to the candles for a fall-ish look.
Isn't this a sweet leaf plate?
I found it at Ross and loved the fall colors.
I tied more ribbon on a green trinket box.
I think anything becomes festive with some wire ribbon.
Michaels has a wonderful selection.
Here is the glitter pumpkin I found last fall at Kirklands.
It has little acorns and leaves at the top.
The wicker tray and the pumpkin are filled with texture.

viewed and or commented on my previous post!
I meant to thank each one of you personally
and I did not get to everyone. Sorry about that.
You have all been very nice to me with my health scare
and struggle to change this past year. I can honestly say
it was a great help to me to have your encouragement.
You are the best blog friends. I appreciate you all.
I don't plan to post anymore weight loss posts but
please keep in mind I am here for you if need be.
Email me anytime with questions you may have.
Good luck to all of you on a weight loss journey!
Have a wonderful week!
My Photo
Welcome! Thank you for visiting my blog. I am a USMC wife married to a wonderful man for fifteen years. He's a CH-53E pilot and has done three fleet tours overseas. I am very proud of him and his hard work. For many years I worked in retail jewelry sales and finally decided it was time to stop and enjoy my decorating passion. We share our home with our cat Chestnut, Lloyd the cockatiel and a betta fish. I appreciate all of your comments and try to respond to as many as I can. Join me! I would be happy for you to follow along.
