Cut, Curls & Summer Swirls

Hello Everyone!
I had decided not to show you my new haircut after all
but then I received a nice email from a reader asking
about it. Thanks Nancy! I thought it looked too much like
my last cut so I didn't want to bore you. It's a long bob
style with the front longer than the back. On this day last
week I added some curls to it. It's usually stick straight.
Join me for a tour of the start of my summer prep.
*All the photos enlarge when clicked.*
The jean jacket is from Marshalls. The necklace Cato. I have no idea how I took this photo? I thought it turned out funny. One day I will add some auburn highlights. I have always wanted to try them. Curls and more curls! It grows fast. I'll have to decide again what style I want.
This shorter length will be great for the summer months. I never buy printed clothing but I am loving the new designs that are in stores.
I bought the swirl shirt at Cato.
The jewelry was handmade by Kristen. This pink print had a touch of brown. I added a tank to pick up the color.
I like navy and crisp white for summer.
Have a wonderful weekend!

You have such pretty hair, Melissa! I saw a cut recently {I think it was online of that model Paulina} and she had a really great haircut that I liked, except it was a bit shorter than I like. If I ever get the courage to go shorter than shoulder length, I might go for that.

Hello Melissa! I love your new hairstyle short with curls. It perfectly complements you. The denim jacket and accessories is perfect too. I like your new clothes. Great choices! Among your clothes, I love the navy blue and white blouse matched with the beautiful necklace. Have a great week!

Your hair looks fantastic! I really like it. My daughter's is about the same color and she has auburn added in the winter and lighter, almost blonde hi-lites in the spring/summer. Both look wonderful on her! My hair is so short all the time...have no idea how you girls can deal with the longer hair. :-) The humidity & heat here are just too much for me...plus I like to be able to do mine in about 15 minutes.

Love your new clothes too. Fun!

Don't you just love Cato's! I got some pretty pieces there while we were at the beach this weekend on clearance! I just can't see paying a high price for some of that stuff when you can get some nice things there.

Love your hair cut, you are such a pretty lady!
