Hello Everyone,
I had another post planned for today but it will have to wait.
To say that my heart is heavy is an understatement. Please join me
in saying a prayer for all of the families affected by the horrible storms.
My sister and her family live in Birmingham and they are okay.
Thank you God.
Take care of yourselves and hug your family. You never know.

Thank you so much for this post Melissa. We are all still in shock here in Alabama...the destruction is unbelievable. I'm supposed to join my sister at her lake house on Lake Martin tomorrow but we understand there is quite a bit of damage there so she's going down first (if she can get in) to see if there is water and electricity. We've heard the church on the lake where my daughter got married is gone! There is another church on the road to the lake destroyed! I'm afraid it will get worse before it gets better. One of the beauticians at my beauty shop had three members of her family killed last night, one a small child. Thank you for your prayers.

Amen. God be with them all. Lord have mercy.Thank you Melissa.
Melissa,
Happy to hear that your family members are safe...all of us here in Alabama are just in shock. It's really unreal that I have family and friends in the path...starting in Preston, MS.-Tuscaloosa-B'ham-Ringold, GA. My best friends 22 yr. old son is safe but was only about 400ft. from where it hit (UA student)...he is still very upset after going thru this...made it home today with no windows in his car...the house that he lived in last year is gone. Please keep all these young people in your prayers.
Blessings,
Linda
with a heavy heart for all those affected I pray and say Amen.

I'm sitting here Praying, My MIL is in Huntsville Alabama and is without power along with our other family members that are spread out from Huntsville. The pics on the news are devasting and all we can do here in FL is send Prayers to our family in Alabama. They are all safe but in the dark. We are trying to stay in touch thru friends and family.
