Home Sweet Tour

Hello Everyone!
Since our home will be on the market in early 2012 I thought I would
share a quick tour room by room starting with the downstairs. We have not
decided yet if we will use a realtor or militarybyowner.com. I think we are
leaning towards trying to sell it ourselves. Wish us luck! I'm ready to move now
although it looks like it won't happen until around the spring time frame.
Welcome to our home!
The foyer is two story and has a nice sized coat closet.
The formal living room is on the left as you enter. Many use it an office. It has french doors.
The family room is large and has a gas log stone fireplace.
The formal dining room is warm and welcoming.
The eat in kitchen is off of the family room area.
The laundry room is off the kitchen and has a pocket door.
The powder bathroom for guests.
The downstairs includes a two car garage and a large deck.
We have been happy here but this is the way of the military.
Thanks for touring our home. It's always great to hear from you.
Have a wonderful week!

Hi Melissa...

Ohh...I loved getting to tour your beautiful home once again, my friend! It's all sooo gorgeous! I love the two new prints that you added in your dining room...they're beautiful and look perfect with your wall color! I also enjoyed all of your autumn decor! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us, dear friend!

Ohh my...are you sitting on pins and needles? I would find the "waiting" hard to do! Have you already started looking for homes in Maryland? Listen to me...I sound like a question box! Hehe! I hope that my note is finding you both doing well, sweet lady!!! It has been way too long since I have been by for a visit...I do apologize.

I just came from Gloria's blog. I am so worried about her. I plan on calling tomorrow to find out how she is feeling! Hopefully I can talk with her daughter or Lenny. Well dear friend, do take care and warmest autumn wishes!

Love ya,
Chari

The new homeowners will be very lucky. (And, I spy Mr. Chestnut taking in the sun in your spacious great room ... so cute). xoxo

Your house looks great. I'm sure it will sell fast. Waiting until Spring will probably be a better idea. The market tends to be slower around the holidays.

Angela said...

I love your house! I would buy it in a heartbeat (along with all of the furnishings). I know that I say this every post, but I can't wait until you get into the new house and decorate. It's going to be fun to watch you add your designing touch.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Melissa, everything looks so beautiul. I love all the warm paint colors you have used. I may be contacting you really soon about those colors would love to use some of them myself. Good luck on your move. We were on the market with a real estate firm for eight months, with no luck. Then went FSBO, two weeks on the market and gone! Right now we have October the 11th as a closing date, but we all know how closing dates go! Once again good luck, hope you have a really quick sale.
