How are you doing this fall so far? It's been beautiful here in NC. I can't complain.

While browsing Marshalls last week I came across an unexpected find. A little lime lamp
that I added to our downstairs powder room sink. I wasn't shopping for a lamp but that is
how it goes sometimes. I absolutely loved the color and since it was on clearance for $20 I
grabbed it. The poppy prints in this bathroom have lime in them and it can be hard to find.

I like the happy pop of bright color it gives the dark sink and entire powder room.
I'm not concerned that it looks retro-modern and the bathroom lighting has a tuscan style.
No rules ... decorate with what "you" enjoy in your home.
I'll be back soon with with my autumn jar decorations and a laundry room facelift.

That's right! NO RULES--use what you love and what makes you happy. Goodness, if we tried to keep up with all the trends, we'd be perennially unhappy--and probably bankrupt! :)

I love lamps in the bathroom, although I don't have any in ours yet. Not much room. Ha

Girl we could totally hang together shopping! I almost bought that exact lamp at Marshall's for our living room but couldn't decide! I also was looking at those monogram pumpkins at Kirklands as well but was bummed it was ceramic. I'm a first time visitor - have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
