It's Turkey Time!

Hello Friends!
Wow, where did the past month go? It just flies by doesn't it? Thanksgiving is in two days
and I'm ready to cook and eat good food. We are staying home this year. I can't wait for the day
that we live closer to family. For many years we traveled constantly to Florida my home state and Ohio my hubs home state and I think we just got burned out. At one point we counted 33 over 13 hour car rides. Whew! What are your plans? I hope you all stay safe and it's a happy one for you.
I wish I had done more of this fun fall list. It's been a crazy couple of months.
Did anyone complete a fall bucket list?
Yum! These apple caramel parfaits sound easy and delicious. Click here for the recipe.
Check out my Pinterest board "Autumn Eats" for more fall recipes.
I found this decorative cream jar at Marshalls. I added it to the kitchen counter.
At $12.99 I thought it was adorable and it matched our newly painted cabinets.
The same day I found this little cream leaf plate for $3.99 and displayed it too.

Christmas decorations were at Marshalls as well so I picked up these pretty
ornament storage boxes and shiny wreath. That's next! I'll share soon.
Do you spy the kitty tail? He can't hide from us.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families!

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! It's nice to be at home and not have the hassle of traveling, even though you really miss family. Relax and eat and nap. :)

I didn't do very much for fall...the time has just flown by and my favorite time of the year is almost over. I'm not in the Christmas mood yet...maybe next week?

What pretty finds!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Melissa!!

I'd love to travel to be with my son and his wife for a Holiday - but he's so busy working and all - he barely has time to breathe. Haven't had a Family Holiday Meal in the 7 years I've been here in Michigan! Kind of miss it. Tom and I and the 3 pups will be having a roast chicken and trimmings! Yummy.

Happy Thanksgiving Melissa! We too are staying home- our family visits are 4 hrs. each way but we did a 13 hr. trip to see our son last year so I hear ya about that! I had a fall list but I wouldn't call it a bucket list! I did plant more tulips though!
Have a great Thanksgiving!

Hi, Melissa. My kids and I always stay home for Thanksgiving, then travel to see family for Christmas, but we won't be doing that this year. I love your purdies, especially the leaf plate. :-)

Hi Melissa, I found your page via Jan's page, The Comfort of a Safe Place. Your comment caught my eye because my dad battled with AD for many years.
Thanksgiving was very nice for us and it's always just the four of us...me, my husband, and our two grown children. We're from South Florida (your home state).
I didn't complete my fall bucket list, but it was one of the most creative and fun autumn seasons ever. I did get a lot of crafting goodies done. Love those pretty boxes, by the way.

Keeping you and your loved ones in my prayers. I look forward to visiting.
Much love,
Marcia
