Two Trees For Christmas

Hello Everyone!
I finally snapped a few photos of our two Christmas trees to share.
The first is winter white and gold and the other is red and lime. I like contrast.
The white is our tree from the year of our marraige, 1999.
I've added gold picks and ornaments from Cracker Barrel. The red tree is a slim style and is pre-lit. The tree is new since the lights went out on the old one. The other tree had multi colored lights. They were sold out so I went with white lights. I miss the warm glow of the multi lights but it's growing on me. The white is in the family room downstairs and the red is in the new tv room upstairs.
These are locations we have never used before and we really can enjoy them now.
Chestnut does too. He's been chewing and batting at them non stop. Silly boy!
Enjoy the tour!

Merry Christmas 2012 from the Millers!

The white bow topper was made at a floral shop years ago.
The red plaid bow topper was pre-made at Michaels.
Are you finished decorating your trees yet?

Very beautiful Melissa...as always. And NO I haven't decorated yet, it's the latest I've ever been *blushing*. We bought our tree Friday (it was raining) and yesterday it was finally dried out but I haven't even started the lights. Going to get it ALL done tomorrow...I hope.

Both trees are very pretty. I like how you did the bow on top of the trees with the ribbon cascading down. It is like having a new Christmas with being able to put your trees in different areas!

I'm struggling with my decorating this year. Trying to use what I have without it looking the same as every year. Plus I am wanting it a little simpler. We'll see what happens.

Beautiful! Your trees are so pretty Melissa. I'm ready now, just have to give it a little touch more to the kitchen to photograph it..meanwhile I do have a tour1, right now. I always use my same things, but move them around in different places each year. Happy holidays.

Hi Melissa...

Your trees are beautiful! I love them both, for different reasons of course. I love the skinny tree, with it's red ribbons and ornaments - such a wonderful contrast - and I love the white, so peaceful and calm.

Merry Christmas!

Your home looks beautiful, Melissa. Love both trees. I have not even started to decorate this year because we are in the middle of moving for the first time in 23 years. Eeeekkk!! ;) Hopefully I'll be able to some time this week. Love the bows on the picture frames.
Merry-merry,

Love the two tree decorating, I used to do one in the living room and one in the parlor, that was before one of the trees gave up and fell completely apart a few years ago. Your home is so beautiful, and I always love a "visit" with you!
